Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Baldy retweeted this. Peters was the big signing

So was that really the big news that Baldy was talking about? Has anyone asked him if this is what he meant?

Mixed feelings on Peters at RG. Who loses a spot?

Brandon Brooks. Otherwise they will have the same group of guys heading into camp that they had penciled in the day after the draft. There were always going to be serious battles for the eight, ninth, and perhaps tenth spots on the offensive line.

Based on what I was reading theyre not taking away the beef.  They're feeding their cows a new diet to reduce they fart less and produce less methane. Lemongrass. Kinda cool.  Gross but cool.

Yes, that's what Burger King is doing but read the comments

Jags are not what they once were.

This was back in the late 80s. My boss owned one.

Yeah that’s what they’re doing. I know a few people who may need lemon grass.

Do I know you? 😁

Pretty funny though that he used your exact wording today

And there still should be... You'll get the best out of them when they are playing with their backs up against the Turk.

He probably reads the Blog.

I think they’d move him to LT and make Pryor the RG if Dillard is hurt. And yes, I’m aware they don’t like moving two players to accommodate one injury, but I think it makes too much sense to move him back to his natural position.

I also shouldn’t have used spaces between any of the words. That would have added to the effect.

It's possible they do that but again that may say more about Peters than Mailata. That's also why this isn't a bad move for the team.  Peters has position versatility and is relatively low cost for his ability.  The only other player like that potentially on the market is Kyle Long.  Kyle is semi-retired and may not be a real option. Larry Warford would be another option but I don't think he would come nearly as cheap as Peters.   I think if Mailata is out there when they have an extra-o-linmen that tells you what you need to know about Mailata.

I guess he agrees with you then.

I was going to read the comments, but I already know what they are going to say.    How about this... how about people not decide what other people should eat?

Meanwhile, I stand by what I said, harvesting cattle methane would be a more environmentally responsible method of sourcing it - and it would be 100% sustainable - rather than fracking.  Fracking endangers drinking water.  Cows provide leather goods, food (meat and dairy), energy, etc.   All they need is... grass.  Grass is also sustainable... so we can harvest a 'fossil fuel' to feed our thirst for energy, using Sun, grass and cows...   hmmm...  We get clothing and other goods and food as an extra by-product.

I'm on board.

The right decision.

Gotta say, this is probably a really bad offseason to switch Mills to S and Peters to G, as well as having Maddox on the outside full time. I think we are going to be lucky if even one works out.

I figured you would be.

Damn you boys been busy.

Hahaha. So It really was just Peters? Ok now the question. Is he playing Right guard cause let's face it after years of being the best of the bunch he struggled on the island last year at times.

BTW, 100% agreed with the Clowney = Mamula analysis. Sometimes sheer boredom has its consequences. I'd take a shot on Clowney if he's willing to do a one year but very little real "expectations" there.

Modern game's so different. Dawk would be a prime candidate for LB in today's NFL. No BS.  LB position is basically unrecognizable. Trotter wouldn't even make 70% of NFL rosters.

Where's my friend "we_gotta_believe"?

I'm not saying that this is a sure thing by any means... BUT... I'll give the glass nearly full viewpoint:

1 - Mills is well acquainted with the defense as a whole, so he doesn't need to learn the defense or the calls, he just needs to learn his new responsibility.  So, the learning curve is only on the position change, not everything.  Mills also has the right mentality for when a foul-up happens.  Put it in the past, and make the next play.

2 - Peters is a coaches' dream.  He studies and he and Lane are great friends, as is Brandon Brooks.  I see the 3 of them being inseparable and start working on things immediately.  Brooks can help Peters with the techniques of guard and guard responsibilities, meanwhile, Lane can be there in the midst of chemistry.

3 - Maddox is another football lifer type.  So, he'll put in the work by himself.
