Not sure how "silly" TD's vs. TO's (a decent performance indicator for QBs) in big games actually is...

I think the point that the other Twitter dude was trying to say was... Dak is a -1, Wentz is a +1.

One stat alone doesn't mean anything by itself.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

If Peters is healthy he can dominate at any position on the line besides center if you ask me.  How do we know Pryor couldn't get there?  A lot of film reviews showed that yes he has work to do but when he gets his hands on you, game over.

I really want to see him develop because the reality is we need Brooks replacement not just for this year but longterm.

I always think of Bobbie Williams when I see that phrase.

If anyone reads the article it says the health commissioner is strongly recommending no fans and they are consistently having talks with the Eagles. says nothing that they are forcing no fans in the stands yet. Another article that people are over reacting on. until I hear it from the Birds, there is hope atleast Im praying for it, lol

I read the article, and I think it is quite clear the city will NOT allow the eagles to have fans in the stands. The article even notes that the league itself has told team local authorities make the decision on whether fans can attend.

Besides, there can be a lot of noise built into numbers like that. Dropped passes that turn into picks, was a receiver tackled at the 1 leading to a short TD run, interceptions thrown late when trailing big.

Oh, definitely.  I'm a big fan of context.

Agreed, I want to see how Pryor (and Mailata while we're at it) play again to see where they're at.

But here, I think you rely on the general rule with OL that you can never have enough.  So as long as we have Stoutland, I think we're in good shape and those guys will all get work.

It can make a difference. The East has been decided by 1 game the last 2 years.

I was just given the opportunity to crap on Dak and I took it.

In other news, Brett Brown is excited about Ben's jumper at practice.

Damn you boys been busy.

Hahaha. So It really was just Peters? Ok now the question. Is he playing Right guard cause let's face it after years of being the best of the bunch he struggled on the island last year at times.

BTW, 100% agreed with the Clowney = Mamula analysis. Sometimes sheer boredom has its consequences. I'd take a shot on Clowney if he's willing to do a one year but very little real "expectations" there.

Modern game's so different. Dawk would be a prime candidate for LB in today's NFL. No BS.  LB position is basically unrecognizable. Trotter wouldn't even make 70% of NFL rosters.

That would make your username super awkward.

They haven't even played a game yet . This is going to be a disaster.

I haven't played Madden in years but they are releasing their list of 99 rated players, even sending them diamond necklaces (like they need more free stuff).

Patrick Mahomes and Christian McCaffrey are the first to be revealed.  I get Mahomes but McCaffrey is not a 99 IMO.

I’m always wary of ultra-productive guys on losing teams.  Very good player, no doubt — but I’d take Barkley over him in a heartbeat.

So I guess JPs market was smaller than his agent thought?  It makes the Eagles hand better when negotiating.  But regardless, good to have him back and there for all scenarios.

I was so bored i was watching a soccer game  this weekend. The stands were empty so they used recorded crowd noise.

Seriously lame.

On our TV,  you have an option to watch without crowd noise.  It's great, but you can hear a lot more than TV audiences are used to hearing.  I wonder if the Eagles will look at cardboard cutouts to give the stands a bit of colour if no fans are present?  It worked over here, but you have to be careful otherwise you end up with Osama Bin Laden and a paedophile in the stands....

I like Peter's at guard but wonder why they are switching his side.  Seumalo is experienced at both.  And he and Dillard next to each other is underwhelming.

I'd prefer to see Peter's at LG  next to Dillard and coaching Dillard in game. Seumalo at RG.

I think that alignment would maintain thr most continuity.

Actually, I have no idea what Sheil is talking about. I put the same qualifiers into PFF and it shows a few players

Lomas Brown, Ray Brown, Bruce Matthews, Andrew Whitworth, Kevin Mawae, Casey Wiegmann and Frank Winters.

I'm guessing he eliminated all the 38 year olds because they probably didn't start the season at 38? So it would be Ray Brown and Bruce Matthews
