Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Pretty ignorant.   Good thing Myron Rolle didn’t get advice from you.

Speak when spoken to.

Ironic.  Myron Rolle, literally, got advice from me.  I know him well.  Speak when spoken to.

Spending a month watching at NASA does not equate to being a rocket scientist.

He does have an aerospace engineering degree.

I didn't mean to be harsh.  It's just a pet peeve of mine when pro athletes demonstrate the slightest competency or interest beyond their sport that they are immediately portrayed as an expert or practitioner of that field.

Dobbs quite simply is not a rocket scientist.  He's a quarterback.  Could he be?  We he be after he leaves the NFL?  Sure, maybe.

Completely agree. I have no doubt Josh is one smart cookie, however he was at NASA in what sounds like an intern role. Furthermore, there is a huge difference between an bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a masters in physics, aerospace, mathematics, etc.

My best buddy is a particle physicist specializing in black hole accretion research. Based on what he has told me an undergraduate degree in an applicable field (i.e. Josh Dobbs with Aerospace engineering) is basically a starting point for NASA. Essentially, they fund you from there to seek your doctorate or graduate studies. After your additional schooling is complete they may give your job offers, and more importantly research funding (most physicists take this route as they continue their own research). Dobbs may have a future at NASA, but he really need more education first.

This is where coaching comes into play, Edwards lacks long speed but smart LBs can be effective in short area coverage with anticipation (of both the receiver's route and the QB).

Edwards isn't slow (4.77), the day of the 5.0 two down MLB are gone. It's just that our other LBs are fast (4.44 to 4.65)

Just don't let him get caught covering someone like Sanders on a wheel route - but there aren't a lot of 3 down RBs like Sanders in the league.

He'll be off the field against RBs who are passing down specialists.

He cut his weight between 15-20 pounds to get down to 227 pounds at his pro day.  He still ran slow.

I doubt he’s back up to 245, but that 40 time isn’t legit.

All in fun.

Zoom meetings.  Where you have to look like your paying attention.  Luckily my company still prefers webinars and conference calls.   I think because my boss doesn't want to be seen on camera.

you are probably right about your boss lol.

Last semester I would attend some classes outside with the camera off (working on projects). I only got caught one time, I was building a screen door when i forgot to mute, and everyone heard the circular saw.

I remember Scot McCloughan’s wife, Jessica, going after ESPN’s Dianna Russini on Twitter, accusing her of being her husband’s "side chick” and doing other things for scoops. She later apologized and said the allegations were "unfounded and inappropriate.”

I’d post the link to the deadspin article but it’s not work appropriate.

First person I thought of when hearing Redskins officials screwing media members for stories, inside info, etc., was Britt McHenry.  She was real cute but came across as a bit of a pig.

Another reason why Goodell needs to be gone.  They are ill-prepared for the upcoming season.

Yep. And by that you mean for the upcoming non season. I was wondering this morning how they are going to do the draft in April without a season? Ping pong balls?

Well, if it is rigged the liberal owners and Roger all hate Jones, so at least the Cowboys won't get it. Seriously though...I can't see how else they do the draft.
