I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Don't see why it wouldn't be allowed

Applegate is one of 15 former female Redskins employees who told The Washington Post they were sexually harassed during their time at the club. The other 14 women spoke on the condition of anonymity citing a fear of litigation, as some signed nondisclosure agreements with the team that threaten legal retribution if they speak negatively about the club. The team declined a request from The Post to release former female employees from these agreements so they could speak on the record without fear of legal reprisal. This story involved interviews with more than 40 current and former employees and a review of text messages and internal company documents.

Home field advantage is gone. There’s no fan noise to worry about. It’s going to be an interesting season (that I still believe won’t happen).

Well I certainly hope it happens. My prediction is that the NFL will actually set the example on how to handle the pandemic. This because of the money involved. They'll create a bubble that can only be entered by people who are tested. It won't be %100 impenetrable, though it should be impenetrable enough to avoid an outbreak. But if the NFL can make it work, it should set the example for how to create covid-free zones that can go back to some degree of normalcy.

If my idea of this mega chatroom can be accessed by the sound system, I would think home field advantage could be preserved; though your point is well taken. Perhaps limit the audio chatroom to season ticket holders or maybe ....EMB members? Just a thought.

i thought it was going to have way worse details more in-depth details then that story had. Don’t get me wrong it was still really bad but I think it got made out to be like you won’t believe what you are reading.

Yup.

The way all these journalists danced around it, talking about how bad it was without saying what it was... I thought it had to be so explosive they were worried about getting sued.

Honestly, if Jay Gruden is involved that means that John Gruden had to know about this.  No way brothers don't share things.  I mean the spider web of where this sort of thing could spread is so big.  Could run all through the NFL, ESPN..owned by Disney.  Just speculation but there has always really small discussions about sex trafficking all across Hollywood.  We sort of joked about it when I shared the Wayfair conspiracy a few nights ago but I really think Dan Snyder and Jay Gruden could be the tip of the iceberg.  Tom Hanks was discussed earlier.  Chrissy Teigen has tweet after questionable tweet about being attracted to young kids.  I'm sure some on here are going to roll your eyes at Candace Owens as the source but the proof is in what some of these folks tweet and then delete.  I'm not 100% on the everyone in Hollywood is a pedophile or a sex trafficker train but man there are just so many nuggets out there that really make you say hmmmm...

It was typical, scummy behavior that's not acceptable in a workplace, but Twitter made it seem like it was something out of control. I think the Vikings sex boat was more crazy than this.

I was expecting Dan Snyder pimped out Colt McCoy to a Mexican Donkey Show or something.

From what I’m told this story in the Post is brutal. Not too much longer for the gossipers to wait. The curtain will be pulled back soon

I wonder what could have possibly made these women come forward now? I await my talking points from FOX and OANN for now.

The article isn't good, but I was expecting it to be much worse than that with how much everyone was hyping it.

I didn't mean to be harsh.  It's just a pet peeve of mine when pro athletes demonstrate the slightest competency or interest beyond their sport that they are immediately portrayed as an expert or practitioner of that field.

This reminds me of the Baltimore Ravens lineman who was good at chess a few years ago. They showed footage of him going to schools and whipping all the students simultaneously. Made him out to be some master player. Turns out that his rating in the official chess federation is just average. Even I'm rated higher than him and I'm far from an expert, let alone a master.

I agree the hype was too much but the article isn't a good look for the team.  No doubt it was the reason Santos was fired. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2020/07/12/redskins-fire-two-members-their-football-personnel-department/ Of course the question is why wasn't he fired last year after a reporter filed a complaint with the team.

Something like this though:

Princiotti said one male member of the communications staff once told her she had a nickname around Redskins Park: "Princihottie."

I mean that's not great but it's not earth shattering or really that offensive.

Yep.  Snyder is cooked.  But I was expecting more.

I really don't know if it's enough to get him out. Based on the article, the worst thing he was accused of was making a sales executive, who was a former male cheerleader, do cart wheels in an office meeting. They specifically mentioned that no woman accused Snyder of any inappropriate behavior. There certainly can be guilt by association since it was his inner circle and him ignoring it which is obviously an issue, but that's the worst of it. Everyone accused is no longer with the team.

I am sorry for your loss, grief is an ocean and I hope that I haven't stirred anything up for you.  Two generations of males before me were taken by GBM before 70, including my dad this May 416 days after diagnosis.  McHenry is a PoS and I feel no sorrow for her plight.

What kind of tumor did she have?

That's it?  I didn't read the article but if THAT'S the worst part of it...or a nickname.  Man I hate twitter.  These people that think they have stories and this?

Same. I didn't think it was women getting sexually harassed years ago by the Skins. Thought it was going to be darker. Not saying the metoo thing isn't bad though

It's not guilt by association.  He is the owner.  He has a responsibility to stop harassment when it is called to his attention.  Given the length of time the harassment went on and the high up officials that engaged in the behavior, he is directly responsible for it.

A 'bubble' that will have to be put into place in nearly 30 different cities around the country, with full cooperation from the local authorities and service industries, and maintained for multiple months.
