Bradham ever sign anywhere? Figure he’s definitely worth bringing back.

I would rather watch paint dry than watch him run

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Second.  Not everyone has to be Daniel Day-Lewis in order for people to enjoy their movies. Die Hard, Sin City, Unbreakable, Sixth Sense, Fifth Element are all classics for me.

I don't know who I consider a good actor anymore.  There haven't been any movies as of late where I said I have to see it because a certain guy is in it.

Not to mention 12 Monkeys, Red, Tears of the Sun, The Whole 9 yards, and one of my personal favorites Last Man Standing

Lol...the guy makes movies us common folk enjoy the hell out of. That's the point of movies.

Nick Cage has a few good films, Raising Arizona, Adaptation, Wild at Heart.  Bruce Willis is like John Wayne.  He plays one type of role and he plays it pretty well.

What is he supposed to do, not talk to reporters?

I mean this is one of his answers:

"One thing I was asking for in a linebackers coach is patience, and that is one thing he has had with us rookies. He knows it’s a different type of style this year when it comes to learning the playbook. We didn’t have a rookie minicamp or anything like that.

"He would ask us if we needed him to go over something again. With him just having patience, I’m just so grateful because I needed that in a linebackers coach. There’s so much to learn, and I still have a long way to go and having that patience and spending that extra time with us, just helps me a lot.”

That doesn't sound like a player being boastful.

I definitely want to see that one.

Speaking of movies.  I suspect there is going to be a major gap in new movies and shows coming out because of Covid-19 shutdowns.  For example Stranger Things was supposed to come out earlier this month but they delayed filming.

He's in movies that common folk enjoy.  Doesn't make him a good actor.

Yeah, I bet the fall season will be delayed. Going to be boring when it gets to be too cold to be outside.

I'm guessing you didn't read the article.    That quote was taken out of context.

Here's the full answer to the question (and the question):

  Quote

NJ Advance Media: At Colorado, you were out there covering running backs and slot receivers in basically the STAR linebacker position. How much do you think that helped your instincts in coverage and in space?

"So much, because a lot of the times during the week I was practicing with the (defensive backs) and I think that helped a lot with my coverage on tight ends and running backs and on slot receivers. Just being able to practice open-field tackling every single day, Coach (Mel Tucker) made sure we did that every day. And doing those things helped me become a better linebacker because I feel like a linebacker who can stop the run and cover is a great linebacker.

Here's another quote from the article.

"To be honest, I just want to do whatever the coaches want me to do. I’m just glad to be in this position. I just want to play. I just want to make the roster, even if it’s on special teams, and just (eventually) get into a starting spot. I feel like wherever they put me at, that’s where I’m going to make myself comfortable, at any spot.”

It's a little different than the 'Twitter tag' put on it.  He's not running his mouth.  He's answering a question, but the part selected to highlight for the headline on the Twitter post was just the most juicy part.

Seems to me the kid has his head screwed on right.  He's not being braggadocios.  I look forward to seeing him on the field.  And, we'll see what Ken Flajole is capable of as a LB coach.  This kid has the athleticism, now it's just a question of whether or not he can translate the athleticism to production in the NFL at LB.

One of the best performances I’ve ever seen was Gary Oldman in The Darkest Hour.  Excellent film.

I have been meaning to watch that.   I need to make that a priority, maybe this weekend.   Might see if I can get my son to sit and watch it with me.   But, he's not a 'movie kid'.

And my wife went to high school with his sister Prudence.

Ben Foster, love his work. Hell and High Water. Brie Larson was amazing in Room. Anything with Helen Mirren, Judy Dench,  Bill Nighy, Russell Crowe at times, Denzel, Idris, Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, Ethan Hawke, Marion Cotillard, Ruth Wilson. Throw out the Marvel and Michael Bay movies which, as Scorsese has said, aren't really movies at all and which I find unwatchable, and there's a lot of good stuff. Also, with the explosion of streaming some of the best work is done in series. Going back a few years, Robert Duvall said his favorite part ever was Gus in Lonesome Dove. Titus Welliver is great as Bosch. And so on. Smaller scale, better work.

And yes, Gary Oldman too. Good call there.

You won't want it to end.  He's that good.

Oldman has always impressed me as an actor.   Even in that crazy 5th Element movie... he was easily the most compelling character.  And then he went a completely different way in Batman Begins.  That showed some range.  Playing Churchill...well, that's another dimension altogether.

True Romance - small part but brilliant. And Tinker, Tailor. Hard to believe it is the same actor.

Ben Foster is probably my favorite current actor.  He was great in 310 To Yuma.  He had a small role in the Harrelson movie I saw last night, Rampart.

I'm going to guess you don't mean the original.
