Same. That goes for predraft and post draft. I always try to look at why the Eagles would like a guy.

But not even I could rationalize Pumphrey as much as I tried. He was almost assuredly going to bust.

He was highly productive and they wanted a Sproles clone, because they saw the writing on the wall with Sproles.  They miscalculated on Tarik Cohen, whom I think they liked better, and when he went off the board, they panicked.   Panic is never a good way to make a draft selection.   Similar to how they ended up with Marcus Smith II.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Oh... I forgot to mention that great James (Jimmy) Stewart... who could play either a supporting or lead role.  Great, great actor.

Jimmy Stewart is in an Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Christmas movie titled, Mr Kruegers Christmas, he agreed to play the part under the condition they would let him conduct the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, as Jimmy was a big fan, so a dream scene in the movie he is in the Tabernacle conducting the Mormon choir. Just some unknown Jimmy Stewart lore for those that care.

Ben Foster is probably my favorite current actor.  He was great in 310 To Yuma.  He had a small role in the Harrelson movie I saw last night, Rampart.

Foster is criminally underrated. 3:10 to Yuma, Lone Survivor, Alpha Dog. Hell or High Water was great too. Really good actor.

Hell or High Water was really good. 30 Days of Night is a decent kill of time if you’re into that genre.

I enjoyed that movie as well. I'm not a big Josh Hartnett fan, but I thought that was his best movie.

Which was a good movie in its own right but the remake was better, and truer to the [original] story.

Also true of True Grit.

Oooh I got an idea. Get together and Watch James Franco "make believe" he's playing a bad actor . That'll totally go over well.

Then bring in Bob DeNiro's thoughts on Idi Amin as the Coup De Gras.

Better yet a Coup De Gracie with

In those situations, it's really more about the OL than the RB.    But, forget the RB.  Give me Wentz.

Assuming every play at their healthy peak, I'd probably pick Chris Polk. Short-yardage is a specific skill.

Second.  Not everyone has to be Daniel Day-Lewis in order for people to enjoy their movies. Die Hard, Sin City, Unbreakable, Sixth Sense, Fifth Element are all classics for me.

not to mention the cult classics like Hudson Hawk and 12 Monkeys. Oh and the Last Boy Scout, Red and Pulp Fiction.

Hudson Hawk is just a horrible movie. Hopefully that cult is very very small and, like the Shakers, is destined to die out.

Leroy Harris.

I'm sorry but I can't stay here with you saying such bad things about Nick Cage lol

Why is that so hard to imagine in a multi billion dollar industry? Local authorities? Teams have security. They just need to find a hotel, which should be empty right now with travel limited, and rent it out for 4 months. Marriott would probably be thrilled to make a deal with teams. They are losing millions right now and would probably love to make a deal. Throw in free advertisement as the official hotel of the NFL and they may get it for almost nothing.

The Eagles used to stay at the Courtyard in Jersey. I'm sure one of their models with kitchens would take care of most needs. Rent the entire thing out and have their security secure the premises. Team captains work to keep players in check. If they leave for unauthorized reasons they get a massive fine.

It's all about entitlement. Military members leave their family for months to go live in a tent in a desert. Players making millions can seclude themselves with or without their families for a few months to make more money than most will see in their lifetimes. If young kids in the military can do it so can NFL players. I'm sure exceptions can be made for Thanksgiving and Christmas/birthdays/whatever where the family quarantines for an amount of time prior to them coming home. Bottom line is it's messy, but it can be worked out.

It is, but it's for those of us who like MST3K and such. Watch horrible movies to make us laugh!
