The fact that he's not untouchable is majorly concerning, he's suppose to be the 2nd most important player on the team, the guy who literally protects our franchises' blindside. If he's touchable that means he's no good.

As much as it sucks, I rather them admit a mistake now and try to fix it in this draft then wait knowing they felt that way about dillard and get wentz killed.

if they do deal dillard I’m guessing peters is back and we are taking one rather high that stout loves. I still don’t see him being dealt.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I really miss the old draft set up. Two days, a break after round 3. One round is not enough tonight.

If they’re fine with moving on from Dillard, I really hope they feel Mailata is the answer.

At that point we are going to fix a much bigger concern, the guy who's drafting these busts. This would be the last straw for me.

I think they would look to Pryor at tackle before Mailata. And even consider switching Lane to LT.

I don’t know how they could. He hasn’t played ever. And is just two years into learning it. Love his upside but i don’t think you can say he’s the starter next year. Or rely on him if you bring peters back to step in and be good enough.

She is a nobody.  And she likes the play tie feminine card.  She’s hot.  But has no sources.

I agree. Other than looks, she contributes absolutely nothing to that show. Not even sure why she is there.

Ok who says we don’t move up in round two to get one. It’s not like that’s not an option. It’s not omg they didn’t go WR round one it is utterly utterly hopeless.

Because I just think the guys we should be looking to draft will be gone by early second. Just my opinion.

lots of teams trying for that 11th pick

If Dillard gets dealt that’ll have to mean they’re being back Peters. I’m sure they’ll overpay him on a two year deal.

We’ll find out quick if that Rugby player was worth two seventh round picks.

Again would have to see what they got and who they go with. Like if the jets miss out on the top 4 OT and douglas comes calling giving up 11. That’s a pretty enticing offer. Especially if they draft a tackle stoutland loves as well.

With all the new technical stuff tonight I’m wondering if we’ll accidentally end up in the middle of a trade discussion between 2 GMs or something.

yeah, I shared these same thoughts last week in the old board.  It was the perfect weekend event.  I'm glad it's primetime given current conditions but yea, 1 round is not enough.

The Eagles put themselves in that bind by having to fend off various suitors for the position.

Could. The guy they want at 21 could be too and they should just settle for someone they don’t love cause he plays the position they need? But a better player is sitting right there. So we again should take the lesser talented player cause of need? That seems like a good way to find yourself needing to fix the position in 2021 and wasting a pick

Dillard for #11 overall is fine with me. I like Dillard, but that allows us to take a WR at 11, and another developmental OT at 21. We could resign Peters and try again.

If it's 21 + Dillard for 11, then pass for me.

Are you people nuts? Peters is one injury away from being done for life.

Wouldn’t change the fact that eagles drafted a massive bust again, one they had to move on from a year after trading up to get him. Can’t trust the people who did all that to continue to have the opportunity to repeat doing the same thing again.

I guess marketing is one department not all that hurt by COVID.  These pandering commercials are already annoying me...

You can’t switch Lane. He’s the best RT in football, no need to regress at both positions.

At some point Mailata has to get on the field. It’s year 3. If he’s not ready then he doesn’t belong on the roster.

There is no chance we get #11 overall for Dillard only.  No chance in hell.

If this was actually offered we'd obviously take it in a heartbeat.

What's more likely is we trade Dillard + picks (like our 2nd and a pick next year) for #11.  Which would be awful.

Yea. I'm getting ready for disappointment. I'm getting worried about the offense now. If Dillard busts. Wentz really doesn't have many young pieces around him. The oline is aging quickly. Alshon might be snitch. Desean is old. Jjaw..... and Ward. Sanders and Geodert are the only things I feel confident with going into the future.
