Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I think you’re looking for something to be angry about. Of course he’s talking about the NFL universe.

What I am is sick of the negotiating in public.  They want me to take their side.   NOPE.

That's strange coming from a doctor

Fans will bear the brunt. Probably by increased prices from a bunch of different things

Ouch. Didn't know it was like that. I figure a lot of that can be cut down from vets that likely wont be on the team in the 2021 season though

Right so Gerry or Edwards is better

And my wife went to high school with his sister Prudence.

Ben Foster, love his work. Hell and High Water. Brie Larson was amazing in Room. Anything with Helen Mirren, Judy Dench,  Bill Nighy, Russell Crowe at times, Denzel, Idris, Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, Ethan Hawke, Marion Cotillard, Ruth Wilson. Throw out the Marvel and Michael Bay movies which, as Scorsese has said, aren't really movies at all and which I find unwatchable, and there's a lot of good stuff. Also, with the explosion of streaming some of the best work is done in series. Going back a few years, Robert Duvall said his favorite part ever was Gus in Lonesome Dove. Titus Welliver is great as Bosch. And so on. Smaller scale, better work.

And yes, Gary Oldman too. Good call there.

Not fair to list British actors, they're simply better trained.

Mark Rylance in Wolf Hall is amazing, not all theater actors can adjust to the intimacy of the camera.

Alec Guinness is one of the all-time greats, not just his great movies, but Smiley's People, and of course, Derek Jacobi, in I Claudius.

Yes, Mrs. Bradham. He's cooked.

Is Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States worth a watch?

I respect what Bradham did while he was here but man he really looked cooked by the end.  Maybe I'm wrong.

Well since DeMaurice Smith says so, surely everyone will listen now.

The question is why did he wait until now to say it?

Since many people can’t do the right thing on their own, maybe the carrot of professional sports will work for some?

I don't think 1 person will change but....................... it's worth a shot I guess

He was on the fence

I will say this since Wolf has shut down part of the state again, I'm seeing more people wearing masks in our store.

They aren’t listening to experts, so you’re probably right.

That was kinda my sarcastic point. I think the only way people will change is if someone in their family gets the virus.

I had to take my son to a drive-thru testing site today. On Sunday we went to urgent care for a strep test that was negative. The fever still is hanging on so they ordered the test. My 15-month-old had a fever and a runny nose. She had a regularly scheduled checkup today and they decided to test her. Now we wait 7-10 days for both results.

That whole story sucks... but the last line really sucks.

Oh no! My prayers are that they come back negative on the covid.

Nope. I know people who were positive, had a sick older relative in the hospital and still threw a party because 5 days of quarantine was enough.

Just can’t fix some people.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they are negative.
