Yeah, the waiting sucks, but it does little to change our day to day life other than we won’t be making any grocery runs. We’ll just order it online and have it delivered.

The doctors said the tests were more precautionary than anything, so hopefully they’re right.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Nope. I know people who were positive, had a sick older relative in the hospital and still threw a party because 5 days of quarantine was enough.

Just can’t fix some people.

Yeah, some will not change under any circumstance

I had to take my son to a drive-thru testing site today. On Sunday we went to urgent care for a strep test that was negative. The fever still is hanging on so they ordered the test. My 15-month-old had a fever and a runny nose. She had a regularly scheduled checkup today and they decided to test her. Now we wait 7-10 days for both results.

Sorry to hear man, hope everything goes well.  Kids can shake this thing without much issue but it's still hard to go through, especially with a baby.  7-10 days is brutal.  Most of our sites are getting back to us in 4-5.  One is even quicker usually.

Stay safe.  Stay sane.

I think that's the one thing that bothers me about NFL returning. Testing for general public is already backlogged. Testing centers are hitting capacity within hours at places. But the NFL, or at least the players, want daily testing of an unknown amount of players, coaches, staff for all 32 teams across like 6 months whose results will surely take precedence.

Bias aside not including PHI/DAL, I've always liked the Pittsburgh/Cleveland rivalry. It's been mostly one-sided but the fans hate each other, as do the teams. And it was elevated with what Garrett did to Rudolph. You need to have spite like that for a real rivalry, not just two good teams. The AFC North has had some good ones over the years. PIT/BAL was always fun when they would just smash each other.

PIT/CIN was great for a while.  That was a player generated rivalry.  Those games were full of cheap shots, late hits, and general hatred.

I'm not surprised. It just didn't seem like something a doctor would say

Those replies were funny though lol

That Gronk rating.

Actually, a lot of doctors are saying it, but they are just brushed aside like your post. The only ones the media pays attention to are the ones pushing hysteria and as a result are the only ones people are believing.

That was good for a bit too. Burfict cracking AB. Juju cracking Burfict back.

Didn't see it.  Someone said racism in the thread but can't confirm it personally.

Well.  Beast is a tool.  But that’s common knowledge.   And anyone who has had a 2nd team or AFC team, they are questionable as well.

My team is the Eagles but I keep track of the Texans and the Ravens because I have a lot of friends that are fans of those teams. So if the Texans or Ravens are playing a team and the game has no impact on the Eagles, I will pull for those teams.   I follow multiple college teams. As long as their play doesn’t negatively impact my Cougars, Nittany Lions or Cornhuskers in that order, I will cheer for that team.  I love to watch college ball.

Take TCU, for example.  Two of my wife’s cousins went there.  But even without the link, I would watch for Gary Patterson’s defensive calls.  There are some coaches out there that get more out of their kids than talent would suggest and Patterson is one of those.

AR is one of those.  He occasionally reaches way back for a play.  I think Doug picked that up.  I keep waiting for one of them to call the fumblerooski.

I think you’re looking for something to be angry about. Of course he’s talking about the NFL universe.

I think he has a right to stress that.  Underpaid teacher being asked back into school this fall with a lot less protection that NFL players. Tell me who is the hero in that scenario, the NFL player or the teacher?

I will say this since Wolf has shut down part of the state again, I'm seeing more people wearing masks in our store.

Good.  My state representative said it is a personal choice and I informed him why it is not.  I am tired of the folks that think they wear a mask simply to protect themselves and not others.
