Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Hey... you like what you like.  It's cool.   That's why there is more than one flavor of ice cream.

Oldman has had some odd roles.   But he hit Darkest Hour out of the park.

So you’re the other one.  Always wondered.

He sure did. If they screwed him out of that Oscar...one of the few Best Picture movies I've enjoyed recently too. That and Green Book. "I knew you had a gun" cracks me up.

I'm no James Franco fan but he plays a heck of a stoner/weed dealer in Pineapple Express.

Great. Here is one showing deaths are still down here percentage wise compared to the UK and others. Sky isn't falling.

Just a note on European data.  No country is reporting the same thing as a COVID death or at the same time, so countries like Italy and Spain have chunks of data missing, and to no surprise of some of us, the UK is now reviewing data as they have over-reported COVID deaths. As such, COVID death data has become junk as countries look to massage the figures to look better or have given up reporting all deaths.

Perhaps the most useful indicator is excess deaths YoY.

Oh I’d agree i think Hugh jackman is a superior actor. He’s way more diverse in the roles he can play. The greatest showman was also a really good movie by him

I’m definitely not one to like musicals, but this movie was unbelievable.  Hugh Jackman was the perfect PT Barnum.

I’m really not either but the movie the interview that he and Seth Rogan made was actually pretty humorous.

For anyone wanting to know the Eagles entire Madden roster ratings.  Not sure how they go about this stuff but so many things seem off.  Rasul Douglas and JJAW with 90 speed is ridiculous.  For those who never played Madden 90 and above is pretty fast.

Highly doubt the players union will accept that.  Around 70% of the seasons profit comes from the TV deals.  The rest is divied up between tickets, concessions, and things like parking.

That stipend amount can likely go up.

I doubt the TV contracts don’t have a force maneuver clause that keeps them from having to pay for cancelled games.

Some of the videos of these people in stores are just insane. I think the virus is being politicized for the upcoming election, but it's obviously out there and real so just wear the damn mask. And the other issue I have is these people throwing temper tantrums at the employees of these stores. They had nothing to do with this and are out there just trying to work to provide for themselves and their families. Be a freaking decent human-being and have respect for them. This is a tough time for everybody.

Always liked his performance in The Professional even though it was completely over the top

I worked in the restaurant industry during college. Some people have always been insane a-holes, it’s just finally being recorded/reported with everything going on.

On TV broadcast of Eagles games, you can see a big fellow follows Doug to the midfield to greet the opposing HC.  Who is he?  An assistant coach or a "secret service" security bodyguard?

Prediction: If the league delays the opening of the season by two weeks (not that it has been hinted at, just because they built into the schedule the capability to do it and then reschedule games for later in the year such that they could still play all sixteen games and have the playoffs and a Super Bowl "on time"), they will not be able to pull it off successfully. In other words, they will have to cancel other games and play a shortened season.

I agree with Warren, Togiai and Williams. I don't think Olson has a chance. TJ Edwards jumped off the tape in college. This kid doesnt show that, and while he made a ton of tackles, very few were the result of great plays, but rather the fact that the ball carrier was often running right at him. As far as Juriga, he made the Williams highlight tape, as he watched him sprint right past him on his way to wrecking the qb, so not a great sign there. Another UDFA, Good-Jones, played center before being moved to LT at Iowa State, so I think that kid has a better chance, though neither of them are likely to stick.

My two favorites are Bailey from Morgan State and Elijah Riley from Army. Bailey dominated Army when they played. He had two long touchdowns and would have had another if not for a PI penalty. I watched a lot of his games, and he drew 6 PI penalties last year, including three in one game where the opposing cb just started tackling him on every deep route. I don't see a lot of difference between him, Hightower and Watkins, except he is much more raw as he played LB coming into college and Morgan State didn't exactly have the best qb play or run the most sophisticated offense. But he is really fast, and seems to have good hands.

Riley only matched up against Bailey on one deep route when they played, and kept up with him. So he has speed. He also single-handedly almost beat Michigan. He can play safety or corner, and seems like a much better player than Arnold, who misses a lot of tackles. He's also a lot bigger, and the team seems to have enough little corners and safeties already.

Pretty sure you're talking about Dom DiSandro, VP of Team Security.  You can spot him everywhere.

Is that the best Kaye can do.  No mention of Warren’s pass catching ability. But no mention of his weakness in pass pro. One thing that Duce really excels at teaching is pass pro.  Heck, he even got Smallwood better at it.

Juriga excels at getting to the second level on runs. His weakness is pass pro. Good feet but not a great anchor doing that.  Juriga played more RG than C at Western Michigan.  No mention that he has that versatility.  Will be a battle between him and Herbig.   Loser goes to PS.

Togiai is listed only because they only have four TEs currently.  Frankly, that bodes well for Perkins. Perkins can at least engage a player if called upon to block.  I think Perkins runs better routes and has as good of hands.  Both aren’t fast.  Perkins offers versatility.  Togiai is a PS candidate.

Arnold is possibly competing with Leblanc for a spot.  More likely than not he is a PS candidate they hope takes the next step.  About the same speed as Leblanc, Mills and Parks.  Look at how long Mills, Parks and Leblanc are signed for.

Warren had a sixth or seventh round grade.  Not unusual for the Eagles, even before the PS was expanded, for the Eagles to carry two DTs on the PS.  Wouldn’t surprise at all if one was Warren.

Olson just seems slow.  Interesting the players from that area.  Singleton from Montana State via Canada.  Marcus Epps from Wyoming via Vikings, Olson from Montana via UDFA.   I would put their chances to make the team in that order.  Unlike TJ, Olson doesn’t seem so instinctive to make up for speed issue with reaction. Maybe a PS candidate, maybe.

Dom.  If someone from the Sopranos was the head of security for an NFL team.

There ya go. Bring back T. At least a character worth remembering . Time takes care of it all . Have a great week fellas

Can forgive a lot of sins when the kid just keeps getting up and keeps swinging. I like the new group, no matter who doesn't .  Keep Carson Vertical and play D even if the rest of the league has given up on the concept.

I never liked D " Aka Jussie's" leadership style although I acknowledge his place "in the past" as the best we ever "had".  Wish he could've gotten out of the way of his own Ego. Philly doesn't dig on ya if they don't give a crap. They leave ya to rot.   Weird new year . Anybody afraid of a Dab Revival ? Not me . Heck that's the AFC. If we stay healthy and don't have enough to win THIS division? Something definitely wrong.
