I have one particular RN family member whose facebook posts would indicate that she should receive a medal of honor, purple heart, and nobel peace prize.  There has been some self-adulation from medical people and that does bother me.  No need to shun the praise, but it crosses the line when one demands it.

I appreciate that the country is re-aligning their priorities in society, but we aren't storming the beaches of Normandy either.

Yeah some people definitely revel in it.  My social media feeds are just embarrassing.  Maybe that's part of the cringe factor for me.
