This.  We traded up for a 1-AA tight end to block the Cowboys and watch the best WR in the draft fall in to the laps of the Cowboys.

Lamb wont make a marginal difference for the Cowboys, they already had a huge offense.  They may regret that pick

While it would have been fun to get Lamb, I am ok with Jefferson. 
 

But that was a bad pick by Dallas. They need defense - secondary or pass rush. They didn’t need a receiver, and they don’t have the QB to win shootouts. Basically, they went from Cobb to Lamb - not a huge move.

No one thought we were in range for Lamb, Ruggs, or Jeudy. It’s a deep WR class. No reason to overpay. Rather not have him go to Dallas, but RELAX.

Jerry didn't screw the Eagles, Howie did. A great player fell to Dallas. Of course they took him.

 

So how much should have Howie given up to get to #16?  A second? A third?

A fourth wouldn't do it.

Also, assuming he was talking to the Falcons, maybe they were set on Terrell and would not move.

 

But yeah...Howie was in control of the outcome and chose to do nothing.

Austin Jackson weighed 20lbs at 10 weeks old.  

I have no perspective on what that tidbit means.

I can honestly say I’m disappointed Howie didn’t do what he needed to get in front of Dallas.

That was a few years ago.  They have Leblanc and now Robey Coleman to play in the slot.

Howie fluked with the 2017 off season, the guy F'in sucks. Gave up a 3rd for 6 games of Tate, but wouldn't trade upto 16 to get a legit #1 WR. Get this bean counter back in the closet.
