So many people speaking in absolutes on draft night.  Cracks me up.  NO ONE knows what the outcomes of these picks will ultimately be.  What we do know, is that historically, half of the players taken tonight will bust... and that's in situations where they have the full OTAs and TC to mesh with their new teams.

Now... a few years ago, 3 WRs went in the top 10... all 3 turned out to basically bust with the team that drafted them, meanwhile guys taken in Rounds 2 & 3 turned out better.  We'll see how it turns out in the end.  But, to speak in absolutes is just silly.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

It's Justin Jefferson.

Love the one guy's reaction in here.  We’ve not even selected a player and this draft is a bust.

FYP

Going to the playoffs cost us Lamb. To the Cowboys.

Never ever felt like this as an Eagles fan. Disgusted.

Good luck Eagles PR.

Howie strikes again in the draft. Best WR in the class falls to 17 and not only do they not trade up for him, he lets the Cowboys get him. Inexcusable, pathetic, complete and total BS.

Austin Jackson weighed 20lbs at 10 weeks old.

I have no perspective on what that tidbit means.

My son probably weighs 20 lbs now.  Hes almost 7 months old

Typical McCarthy team all offense no defense

I think Jerry made the pick.

If his son was picking they might have taken Chaisson or McKinney.

So how much should have Howie given up to get to #16?  A second? A third?

A fourth wouldn't do it.

Also, assuming he was talking to the Falcons, maybe they were set on Terrell and would not move.

But yeah...Howie was in control of the outcome and chose to do nothing.

Jefferson is still there.

Howie salivating for a trade down

Jefferson or Murray and I'm happy. Crazy how much Jefferson is being criticized here.

Yep that was a100% Jerry pick. Anyone see the story about how Jerry told his scouts not to contact him during the draft?

They have real WRs.  They don't need a slot in Jefferson.

Chaisson would have been the better pick for them.

Trade down Howie!

I think trading the 2nd was the line of demarcation.   With Reagor and Jefferson still there, he made the decision and I think basing it on their book on Lamb was the result.

He doesn't have that speed.

jags pick is in so we are on the clock.

Gimme Higgins.

Still people are allowed to be disappointed when they don't agree with the picks or the lack thereof. It's not like Howie's perfect either.

Midgets! Look! They're midgets!

Jefferson man. Let's go.

People think he's a slot only. I agree. If he's our pick I hope I'm wrong but that's why many aren't excited. I'd much rather have Reagor if they're both sitting there. Also, trade down!

Chaisson to the Jags.

Dolphins are terrible at this.  Hahaha. Arnette was slotted late 2nd.

Raiders took Arnette.
