Hope that extra weight he put on before the combine that he either takes a bit off or trains hard until the season starts (whenever that is) so he gets his speed back with it.  Don't really feel one way or another about the pick.  Will give him a chance to prove himself and hopefully he learns some tricks and technique from DJax and becomes a dangerous WR for us.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

A "speed" WR who runs a 4.47 LMFAO. Only in Philly.

Stop your nonsense, already.  Sorry we didn't draft a linebacker...literally the least valued position other than long snapper.

Yeah we drafted a midget "speed receiver" without speed, who also has drop issues.  Congrats!

Idk man. Reagor will always be compared to Ceedee forever. I'm not sure he will be able to compare.

Prove me wrong.

Howie redeems himself a little bit. I'm laughing my a** off at all of the people freaking out because they picked Reagor over Jefferson. Reagor is a really good pick.

Does he get #18?

53...

I'd be A OK with Hamler (one may question that fit after just drafting Reagor, but I'd have ZERO hesitation), Higgins, Claypool, Mims.

I didn't care for Higgins or Mims, but that's round 1.

I would not draft Jefferson at 53.  That's right.  You heard me.

Well at least we can pair him with DeSean Watson according to Michael Irvin.

Reagor has drop issues guys. Just a heads up.

So they talk for 10 minutes about every other pick.  We got Montae Reagor highlights and 3 plays for his son.

I hope he’s faster than that 4.47 40 time.

I have reached the point where I am contemplating actively rooting for Howie to be fired. He's the biggest anchor around our neck, the weakest link in the organization.

I can see why.  Reagor is insurance for Desean.  Jefferson isn't.

I didn't expect Jefferson to be there, and was hoping Reagor would be... but to go Reagor over Jefferson was surprising.   BUT... everyone was crying for speed, well, they drafted speed in Reagor.  Lamb is not speed.  In fact, the only 'speed' guy that went so far was Ruggs at 12.  And there's no way they could get that high without mortgaging the future.

Time will tell if this was the right pick or not, but the thought process makes sense.

He looks very fast. Someone said drop issues is that the case?

Ruggs is the only WR I like for us better than Reagor.  And I wouldn't be shocked if Reagor ends up better.

If we passed on Ceedee, I’d get it. But he was GONE

Cool,right?

After all the clamoring for speed... yeah, this was a speed pick.  Only guy that was likely faster than him is Ruggs.

Lots of mixed reviews lol doesn't help someone who doesn't watch college ball:lol:

Wow.  Reagor over Jefferson.  I hope this was the right choice.

I don't think Reagor was a reach at this pick.  They do need to prioritize speed.  I like Jefferson and think he will be productive.  I don't think he gives them the same explosive potential that Reagor gives them. I still would like them to use another pick at WR.

Root for another team.

I don’t understand how someone can root for the eagles to fail just to say "I told you so.”

I would be 100% thrilled with Reagor if CeeDee didn't go to Dallas.  That really burns me.  Once SF passed on him twice Howie should have moved up (maybe there was no taker when he tried).

I love Reagor.  He has an attitude and game like Steve Smith when he was with the Panthers.  He can be that player for the Eagles.  Now pair him with a bigger WR at 53 and I'm good.

Nevermind, no way I'm going to bed too fired up.

Reagor was the more productive college player and he's going to a team with a far better QB.

All the pro-Reagor guys are about to learn that it takes more than speed to beat defenses deep. Much more goes into it.
