Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

There goes Jefferson. So happy with Reagor over him

@eagle45 You’ve been speaking my language as of late. Idk if that’s good or bad, but it’s good. 😂

Lots of mixed reviews lol doesn't help someone who doesn't watch college ball:lol:

Pre-combine, Reagor was neck and neck with Ruggs as the pre-eminent speed threat in this draft.  He was sturdier, thicker, stronger, and probably considered more of a freak athlete than Ruggs.  He had downright horrendous QB play, which limited his downfield highlight reel and stats.  But that is still a negative.  You get credit for what you do.

Then he had a horribly disappointing combine.  He could jump out of the stadium, but he was hyped as a 4.2 guy, not the immensely disappointing 4.47.  He claims he was too muscular for the combine and is back running 4.22's.  But everyone with a disappointing 40 has a story and an excuse.

If we passed on Ceedee, I’d get it. But he was GONE

Not only that but it took a 4th round pick to move up o e spot a bit earlier in the draft.  Can't imagine the complaining on what it would take to move up to 16 from 21.  Bottom line is that best way to get players ranked higher in the draft is to lose more the season prior. Could have tanked against Dallas......🤮

Now if they can grab Mims, Aiyuk or Shenault in round 2, I can die happy.

REACH

I’m content with Reagor.

Would I have rather gotten cute and traded down for him? Sure.

But we needed speed and a dynamic playmaker. Reagor is that guy.

Ruggs is the only WR I like for us better than Reagor.  And I wouldn't be shocked if Reagor ends up better.

Ditto

Only one of those 3 I'd take is Shenault

All the pro-Reagor guys are about to learn that it takes more than speed to beat defenses deep. Much more goes into it.

Which is why I'm thrilled. He's more quick than fast, and he's sudden as heck.

Eagles fans during the 2019 season

''The Eagles WR's are way too slow. We need more speed and dynamic playmaking ability.''

Eagles fans after the draft Jalen Reagor

''Terrible pick.''

Hate the entire Lamb situation, but Howie redeemed himself somewhat by taking Reagor and bringing in a dynamic playmaker with big upside, as opposed to settling for a safe pick like Jefferson.

Yeah we drafted a midget "speed receiver" without speed, who also has drop issues.  Congrats!

Same size as Ruggs.   Can we stop the 'midget' nonsense.  5'11" is far from a midget at WR.   He's not huge, but he's bigger than Desean, and he's faster than his Combine time.  Why do people put so much stock into the 40 like its the be all - end all measurement for 'speed'.

Tell me the last time an NFL player lined up in a track stance, in shorts, no pads and no helmet, takes off running staring straight at the ground for 10 yards, then runs in a completely straight line during a game.

So I take it that NOW people want Jefferson?

The Chiefs have 3 Reagors.  We have 1.  I'm not content yet.

13% drop rate scares me a bit.  Just say no to Hamler.  Hopefully Davis is available at 53.

Don said he has a problem with drops on the other board. That sucks.

Wow.  Kind of stunned that my remote, TV, and walls are all unscathed tonight.  There's a first for everything.

We are going to like Reagor.

The best 3 WRs in this draft according to analytics were Lamb, Jefferson and Reagor.
We got one of the top 3, who also happens to be the fastest.

Not sure if you're a troll or whether you haven't watched the Eagles since 1989....or maybe a combination of both.  As for the rest of us, that actually bleed Green, we know it was the right pick.

Idk man. Reagor will always be compared to Ceedee forever. I'm not sure he will be able to compare.

Prove me wrong.

He’ll also be compared to jefferson forever as well.

WHY DID WE DRAFT ANOTHER WR WITH DROP ISSUES? WTF ALREADY

He and I have been eye to eye on our WR evaluations for the Eagles for at least a month.

Jefferson and Reagor's careers will be closely monitored. If Jefferson is better and Lamb kill us for years, this board will never let Howie hear the end of it and rightfully so.

This is one of the things I was worried about. The Eagles heard for a year straight how slow their team was. It was beaten into their heads so much that it seems like they were totally and completely fixated on getting a "speed guy." If you want speed, that's fine, but you can't be so fixated on one skill that you pass on superior talents. And that's what they did.

They could have went up and got Lamb. They chose not to. There has to be a reason and it's apparent for them it was speed speed speed. He better be an instant stud or they are going to look really bad for what transpired here tonight.

Anyone who watches Reagor highlights and thinks he isn't a legit burner and dynamic playmaker should stop commenting on football immediately.
