They were all in on speed. I bet if they moved up they'd have taken Ruggs over Lamb.

Too mad they waited this long.  Better late than never I guess.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Weidl...."Most stood out was the vertical threat and ability to go up and get the ball."

We've been screaming this all off-season.

I was down on Shenault, but now that we have Reagor it would be an intriguing selection. Think it would allow for a lot of creativity. Him also having inside-outside flexibility is big.

I think he would be a great rd two add

Lets double up on receivers. I want Wentz to blow away the Cowboys Chiefs offense.

I don't want to hear about Dak Mahomes the best qb in the division NFL.

Not trading up for Lamb was disappointing, but it takes two to tango in a trade and we don't know what those conversations were with other teams. I'm not going to get frustrated that they passed on Jefferson. They got faster with Reagor (who plays faster than his combine 40 time). Pair that with Wentz and they can make some magic happen. Anyone who wanted this offense to get faster can't be mad at this pick.

Nope. But it should be.

I knew it was the 2nd that would have been the cost for any trade up.

Good stuff, Manu.  With every tweet, I feel somewhat validated.  This is what I wanted to happen all day if the top guys were gone.

If Aiyuk can go at #25, then we did JUST FINE with Reagor at 21.

Yep. It probably won't, but Aiyuk going at 25 should shut up all of the ''we reached, should have traded down'' clowns.

A minor concern with Reagor, I hope he understands he’s not in a situation where he’s going to be a volume catcher.

I have minimal interest in seeing Reagor return punts or kicks.  Learn the WR position.  Master it.  Don't get hurt on ST.  Let Scott return.

Lol, they’ll say the Niners reached too.

Howie basically said giving up 53 wasn’t worth it for Ruggs or Lamb

Ward can be the WR5 and PR.

I don't want him to be in a situation where he's a volume catcher.

But after Desean gets hurt, Reagor may find himself in a situation where he IS a volume catcher.  😆  I wouldn't worry about that too much.

it was SOOOO frustrating during the season, watching wentz do play action...  expect the wr's to be 20-25 yards down the field already...  and to have them barely past 10 yards downfield...  with a db draped all over them.

If Aiyuk went at 25, I have to imagine Reagor would be gone with a trade down.

If you trade down and Reagor comes off the board...the 2020 offense could be shot.

Frankly i could’ve told you that too. I thought jefferson would be in range. But aiyuk, reagor, murray at 21 wasn’t really all that hard to predict. I thought aiyuk or reagor would be the WRs they’d be choosing from if jefferson went off the board.

Bingo. The comments Howie said In his presser a lil bit ago seemed to hint that he wanted to keep "high picks” when they asked about trading up. Teams like atlanta didn’t need to trade back so they probably said give us 53 (Maybe more) or F off. Just to see if we would.

On the surface it seems like a good idea to keep 53, time will tell.

Ward shouldn’t even be on the roster if we handle the WR position correctly.

I am still pretty low on Shenault.  Risky move.

Remember all those "will there be enough receptions to keep everyone happy" discussions last August?

By week 14 Reagor may be the active WR with the most career receptions.

Fine by me.

We still have some work to do to get Ward down to WR 5.  He's still alternating between WR 2 and 3 depending on who is healthy.

Adam Caplan is always talking down to people for disagreeing with things the Eagles do and things people want them to do. And I'm not talking about outlandish things like "OMG GO GET TOM BRADY!!11!" Normal reasonable things.

He always has an attitude. Maybe it's because he can't keep a job at any media outlet.

I don't even pay attention to that kind of nonsense.
