Hes said hes hoping not to need anything. 

If something is needed, he would like to start by using ads that only guests see.

If he needs to make ads for everyone, itll be as unobtrusive as possible. 

 

As of now, we have enough to last a while unless this place ends up crashing during the first big event. Thursday is the first real test. 

Once the other EMB is gone, an event like a game day when all traffic will be here might be the ultimate test.

So NE is loaded with draft picks.  The Eagles and Patriots are very familiar with trading during the draft.  Let's see if the Eagles can pry away a few from BB.  I wonder if NE would be interested in pick 21 now for someone like Jordan Love.

the hope/thought is we may not need to do either.

and if ads happen it may be just for guests.

If need be, Id be happy with an option for like $2/month or 20 for the year.

we had about 100 people donate. If just 25 would continue a donation at that cost we could easily raise $500/year for maintenance.

But that will also give the board the ability to allow members to 'subscribe' for a either a one time amount, or for a small monthly amount. It wouldn't be a requirement (to 'subscribe'), but it would be a voluntary thing for anyone that might want to support the board to keep it going.

I can see some teams approaching the Eagles for 21 to reach past the Pats.  Problem is those are teams picking in the second not first.  Still if the Eagles traded with, say Indy for its two seconds or its first second (Wasteam’s second) and a first next year and could land Higgins, Reagor, Mims or Shenault, I would sure consider it.

Problem is Buffalo gave up that pick in between to the Vikings. You probably have to make the trade knowing the WR you want has a good chance of being taken.

That sounds unsustainable to me based on donations alone. But Id contribute again to help and hope that guest ads can make up the difference.

My son and I running the "End of the Road" 1/2 Marathon. That was a very fun run. Mostly because of him but the run was on the abandoned turnpike down near Breezewood where the movie was filmed. A lot of it was through tunnels.

I’ve been a proponent of trading back for a while. Build up draft capital for this and next year. Frankly to me I’m more willing to go all in and move up next year if it’s at all possible to get chase. To me I’d be willing to move back with the colts to get future 1st, 2nd in 2021 and a 3rd this year if the colts want someone like tua or love if they fall. I think cause the colts picking 44 and 45 in the second they’d have to overpay to move up that high. They are going to need to jump ahead of the patriots and rivers is a short term solution if a solution.

Ah. You could also run a funding drive every year if possible. I’m sure more than enough people will donate. I just hope the board will somehow remain visible for eagle fans who have yet to come across the message boards. Can’t have guests if people don’t know this place exists.

I feel like we could always set up an annual fee if everyone agrees of like 10 dollars. If we get 300 in the group (could be more) then it would be 3000 which should come close to covering that fee for the year.
