To play DB in the NFL you have to have an ability to forget the last play.  You have to have swagger.  You have to say, not in my territory.  I don’t think he is a bad DB. He plays much better than Rasul in my opinion and if Sydney had half of his swagger and tackling ability he would be a starter. Plus he really embodies the Eagles spirit.  Green hair, pining for Kelly green?   I like the kid.  Just don’t ask him to cover a fast WR on a fly route sold on a feint.

You don’t have finger wag to play with confidence.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Tampa is 9-7, maybe 10-6 imo. In 3 years they’ll be picking #1 overall

So with Brate, Howard and Gronk is Tampa running 13 all day?

Question...

If NE has a deep playoff run with spare parts and Brady wins 0 playoff games in Tampa with those weapons, does the GOAT legacy tilt entirely towards Belichek?

Hard to argue it isn't some kind of blemish on Brady's resume?

I think it is his way of letting the WR know he was in the area when he doesn’t get to hit him. I have no issue with the finger wagging.

They should have a tough division, something Tommy has never experienced before. They have the NFC SB front runner in New Orleans, a still dangerous when healthy Falcons team (that IMO could be a handful if they land Kinlaw), and an annoying/always competitive but below average overall Panthers team with a new coach.  Basically the Panthers are the Bills for Tommy, a team he might split with even though they are inferior in all respects, and instead of the Jets and Dolphins he has Matt Ryan in Atlanta and Drew Brees and the Saints.

So while I think on paper the Bucs look to have an excellent chance to make the playoffs, the road won't be so easy and it isn't going to be a 13-3 cakewalk.  If the Bucs don't add pass protection help, it could get interesting as Tommy does not like to be hit....

Yeah he's not going to have it all his own way in that division like he's had in the AFC East for so long now. Let's see how he handles that.

I think it’s a legit question. We can’t expect @VaBeach_Eagle to pay for it by himself.

He's discussed multiple options.

Ads for guests only.  Ads for all of us.  Subscription.  Etc.   I'll chip in my share to keep this going.

Nah, it tilts to he's old and doesn't have bilicheat to help him cheat

You and me both. I'm happy to pay a few bucks a month if needed.

Yup.  I don't mind ads and I think it has a better shot at long term longevity, but I'd also continue to contribute if that's what it takes.

Nah.  He’s 41 years old and he’s just following what other great QB’s have done once their team was ready to move on.  Think of Montana, Favre, etc.  How much did their later years on different teams tarnish their legacy?  Not much, imo.

So NE is loaded with draft picks.  The Eagles and Patriots are very familiar with trading during the draft.  Let's see if the Eagles can pry away a few from BB.  I wonder if NE would be interested in pick 21 now for someone like Jordan Love.

Shame the Pats really suck at drafting for the most part.

I think the Bucs could go RB in RD1 and sign Peters/trade for Trent Williams. It feels like a Licht move.

If they are going all in this year... you could make this argument.  Why do it half assed???

I tell you what if they added a really good LT like Peters, bulked up their line in the draft too then that's going to be a pretty good offense.

Be stupid at 14 to do it. Better off trading back if they want a RB. Rather go someone like Thomas at 14 and then second round go rb. A small chance that dobbins is there But the LSU kid could be there where they are picking second round.

They don't have the cap space for Williams. Maybe Peters

Yep.  I discussed it on the other board but depending on traffic, Google Ads typically works well, combined with some sort of "paid VIP” members  who wouldn’t see the ads.  Doesn’t need to be much.  Something like $20 per year for VIP membership with no ads.

As of now, we probably don’t need it but when the site "spikes” there will be surcharges, especially if we will need a dedicated server for the "spikes”.

Guess it depends what Peters wants too. And not just in terms of money. I mean it's odd to me that he's still not signed somewhere.
