Family and friends are all saying one of the worst picks NFL draft history. 

You created drama and just signed Wentz. Blew the Alshon contract. 

Howie is destroying the team. His drafting is bs. Dillard trade problems.

This was an acceptable pick beyond the 6th round.

I'll trade our 3rd round pick for a new GM.  Any takers?

We all laughed at this headline yesterday.  All he's done is draft the best WR in the draft and a quality starting corner.  The Eagles meanwhile took a quarterback with the pick they wouldn't part with to move up for Lamb.

The only way this pick would even be remotely explainable is if they planned on Hurts playing some kind of hybrid "offensive weapon" position where he was a potential QB, TE, WR, RB on any given play.     That's a reach though.

The last time I was this shocked Andy Reid had just announced that Juan Castillo was going to be his Defensive Coordinator.

It's part Taysom Hill role, part Wentz's contract not allowing them to spend as much as they'd like on backup QB, part Wentz not finishing a full season since his rookie year, in which he missed the PS with broken ribs.

Howie:

"We're gonna get our Taysom Hill guy!"

Reality:

"Taysom Hill is the worst part of the Saints offense"

Not all.  Over their histories it isn't close.

Devil’s advocate:

Wentz is ALWAYS hurt. QB is the most important position. If you think he’s a franchise QB, then it makes some sense. You might even be able to flip him for a first down the line.

Chip Kelly was right about Howie. Kills me to say it, but the shoe fits.

Even then I would rather have another weapon for Wentz. Howie surrounds him with garbage

We saved our 2nd round pick for this. You could have got ceedee lamb.
