Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

The more they talk the dumber they sound

They really shouldn’t have a PC. I’m saying they won’t tonight.

Taysom Hill contributed 445 total yards of offense last year.

We spent a 2nd round pick modeled on a Brees/Hill gimmick that contributed 445 yards of offense and a Flacco/Jackson gimmick that put Flacco (the Wentz correlate here) in Denver.

I can't imagine what could go wrong!

Gibson goes to the Skins now. This is one of the worst drafts I have seen for the Eagles.

The divison got way way better.

Who's starting the petition to get Belichick's Husky as the new GM

The dog is hysterical.  Kudos to Belichick.

Chinn...wilson...nah didnt need those guys

fire howie

Jefferson and Murray right after Reagor

Gay Jr and Chinn right after Hurts

Yikes.

Honestly, they sound like they think we are 5 years old.  They are not the smartest in the room.  You know who is.  The 31 other teams who are picking players who are going to play significant downs next year.  The goal is for your starting quarterback to not miss a down.

They legit used a 2nd round pick on a player you hope never has to see the field.

We are some dumb mofos for thinking Joe Douglas was the problem, that dude was the voice of reason. We are so F'ed.

Wow. This is becoming a complete ish show.

Now we know Joe Douglas made all those picks while he was here

I mean.. it’s not rocket surgery.

Not sure what this means............but am digging the concept.

On the bright side, JJAW and Jones aren't even in the discussion of worst second round picks in the last 2 years.

Sounds like something the browns would say

I doubt it. There's a surplus of QB talent right now. Winston/Newton can't get jobs.

I thought you said talent?

More thought went into this press conference to make the pick sound defensible than the actual pick.

He has been extremely defensive lol

So while I can understand the idea behind it, the player and value I can’t. That’s where I’m at a complete loss

$1.15M per season for 4 years for your #2 QB, and he put up huge numbers with Lincoln Riley.

I’m NOT saying I like the pick; just using this logic so I can get some sleep this weekend

I have never felt this bad about a draft, not the Kolb draft, the MSIII draft. Nothing comes close to this. Legit depressed about this teams future and present.

There’s only one place this made the team better.

on Madden.

because as we all know, the mobile qb is better than the less mobile qb.

Can we trade Howie, Doug and Hurts to the Colts for Frank Reich?

OK I'm going to play devil's advocate and defend the pick.

If this gives is the final straw and puts someone new in charge of the draft, perhaps it was one of the best 2nd round picks we've made?

Man I was on cloud 9 when Doug said "get used to this" at the parade.  Now I realize he just meant chaos and confusion.  WHY IS HIS HEAD SO BIG.

If you read these comments on Hurts (especially what Press Taylor says), and if you believe it's possible, the Eagles seem to want to be on the cutting edge of the next offensive wrinkle to change the NFL.

I am not defending the pick, I am just trying to figure out what the heck the Eagles are thinking.    But this doesn't appear to be the next Kevin Kolb type situation.

JFC I was playing with reasoning and Taylor confirms it.
