Yeah, I think it's just information that gets purposely leaked out to try to sway a team.

Natalie has had good information in the past, so I don't think she's just making things up. She's well-connected.

I believe this would be a case of her being a shill... either knowingly or unwittingly.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I think this is likely the case as well.

She has. I can't remember what it was.

So... the new blog is putting out over 1 page of posts every hour.  On page 26 and this place has only been open for 19 hours.

I don’t ever recall that being the case, but I can’t say that I follow her at all.

48 hours till draft time

She had earlier this offseason who was not going to be back and she nailed every single one of the players who’s not back. Then again some were obvious.

At least Gunn has her back.

I have an online meeting starting at 7 Thursday.  How long will teams have for Round 1?  10 minutes per pick, or will it be higher given everything?   Back in the day it was 15.

Yeah, I remember seeing that and thinking her source was common sense.

Actually, that Jeudy meniscus surgery was before the 2018 season so he’s played 2 seasons after the surgery — and been pretty darn good

I don’t see it dropping him much at all

I think the issue has more to do with longevity.  How much cartilage damage was there, if any?

Not that it's the same but Jay Ajayi came back and rushed for 3700+ yards, 50 TD's and over 700 yards receiving after his knee surgery in college.  But teams still passed on him all the way down to the 5th round because of longevity concerns.

To be fair, not everyone in the Philadelphia media has a full share of that.

So now Jeudy is dumb and has bad knees?

Two Philly reporters have put the knee issue out there. Just connecting the dots...

Watch him fall to 21 and Howie draft someone random. 😂

I’m not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night .....

Looks from the original story that he was having the surgery April 3 and was still slated to return to spring practice a little more than 2 weeks later.

The long term study I looked at said long term recovery results depended heavily on whether the procedure was a meniscus repair, or a meniscectomy (removal).  Assuming it was a repair based on recovery time, the study showed 95% positive long term results in athletes — mind you, these would not be NFL players.

If she's correct and she's referring to a knee issue from 2018 and not a new one, then any team that passes on him because of some knee issue from 2018 is laughably high maintenance, and this is the kind of stuff people refer to when they say "overthinking the draft."

If that's the case, let's just hope he falls to 21....and the Eagles aren't crazy enough to drop him off their 1st round board.
