Thought exercise...

Would Hurts be able to win a playoff game if we end up in the same situation as last season?

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Thank you for updating the blog to the home of the QB factory. It’s the new gold standard lol

Maybe then we’d find a decent player or two.

We don't have room for 11 rookies on the roster.

That’s a real I still use the EMB's #1 Cliche take. I don’t disagree with what he said, but we had needs that could have been adressed with good players. We drafted a high risk stock that, at best, sees return years later when we need help now.

I’d add would he this year knowing we don’t have OTAs and minicamps this year and might have a shortened season and TC.

He came back to beat Georgia in the SEC Championship game when Tua went down.

It was a joke.

He would be able to run better than McCown with his hamstring torn off the bone.

I'd take my chances with any of the castoff, experienced vets to win a playoff game over a rookie Hurts.

I’m going to say it again... Nelson Agholor will be on the Eagles opening day roster.

Probably not.

This has been a strange draft

Best take yet.  They should post this interview on the front page of the Eagles website.

"Worst case scenario, the Eagles have a solid backup QB for a few years then develop him and possibly trade him for a 2nd round pick later down the road".

So basically, we have an "0% loan" on a dynamic backup for Wentz for a few years...who could come in and win a few games if Wentz goes down...and worst case scenario, we could trade him in a few years and get at least a 2nd round pick back for him.

Well he got benched at halftime in a college playoff game so I wouldn’t be too optimistic.

Howie forgot the number.

This. Everything about this pick is tone deaf.

Seriously?   Is that really his middle name?

Hurts ain't pulling a 2nd round pick after 2-3 years spot backup duty.

Respect Tommy but are we supposed to be excited about this:

He didn’t say they’d be good. Just young and fast. Tommy forgot about Jatavis Brown who is also young and fast.

I still can’t believe Baldy predicted it. Insane.

Amik Robertson, DPJ, Bryce Hall, Lamical Perine, K'Von Wallace tomorrow. And then grab some good WRs and LBers in UDFA. Also like Lamar Jackson as an UDFA.
