2017 Draft on ESPN now.

The Trubisky trade/pick looks even more criminal three years later.

SF got their guy (Solomon Thomas), a third round pick (No. 67), a fourth round pick (No. 111), and a 2018 third-round pick.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

All to move back 1 spot.

So uh fellas, just noticed that we still don’t have the all important "Ask Dave Spadaro” subforum up. Someone needs to get that up and running STAT:ph34r:

Yes Howie, works those puppets, make Jeudy drop.

Yeah. Ok. I’m sure she has sources

I find this blog to be less redundant than the last😉

Thanks for those that kept it going, greatly appreciated!!!

I was reminded today that the Eagles are 10-14 the last 2 seasons against teams not named the Giants and Redskins.

It reaffirms the perspective on why Howie decided to take a different approach this offseason and change up this roster.

McLane going after Howie a little bit here.

But the four drafts since Howie Roseman regained his power over the personnel department have been dubious if not yet near-final assessment. There have been starters, several more projected, and a couple of promising prospects in the pipeline, but the Carson Wentz selection stands alone as the success story of the group.

Of the misses, or the potential ones, several have been a product of the decision-making process, more so than the initial evaluation -- specifically the Sidney Jones, Donnel Pumphrey, Andre Dillard, and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside selections.

Is someone doing that draft day game again this year? I believe you’d get so many guesses round 1 then if your guy’s there you advance to day 2?

I used a carne asada marinade with some boneless chicken breasts, pulled the chicken, made some lime brown rice, some black and pinto beans, some sautéed onions and peppers, some salsa and some guacamole put it over a salad.  Better than any Chipotle burrito bowl I ever had.  Never used a carne asada marinade with chicken before.  I will bet you are going to tell me it is only for beef.

Not crazy at all. My daughter devours chicken when I use a certain steak marinade. Otherwise, won't eat it. When it comes to the bowls the meat and salsa seem the most important. Douse it with something sub-par and it ruins the entire thing.

Last night was pork tenderloin in a marinade that utilizes fajita-like seasoning, wine, and lime. Sounds strange but it's to die for. After grilling the outsides crispy, toss it in the oven for ten minutes with freshly shredded parmesan cheese on top and you've got yourself a happy belly.

I laughed.

I like to cook my meat in rootbeer with all the spices then take the meat out and reduce the rootbeer down with all the spices and fat into a sticky sauce then shred the meat and re add it to the sauce, my kids like it because its sweet not to spicey.

What are the odds we see the Eagles make a trade tomorrow.  I wonder if the Frank Reich connection might help.  Rasul for Malik Hooker straight up?  Rasul and a 6th?

He's the unofficial porn authority around here.  Hey, it had to fall on someone, right?

I'm curious of where this "Schwartz is driving the offseason" narrative came from.

I look at this year so far as time to make up for the inattention the defense has suffered over the past few years.

Only three day-one/two picks since Chip - Barnett, Jones, Douglas.

How about we forego WR and just sign Burton and trade for OJ Howard and just build the entire offense around TEs only?

Someone could correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly the Eagles were the first team ever (maybe in the Superbowl era) to run a play out of 14 personnel. It was Chip Kelly's first or second season and he experimented with it during the preseason. I forget who the 4 TEs were.

It's on the old site.  We should move it over here, though.  I believe @OCEaglefan is the one who runs the Draft Day game.

I'm a little surprised Belichick played along so easily in Brady and Gronk's plan to get Gronk to Tampa.

Damn, guys.  Like many of you I signed up at 8:30 last night and then when VaBE opened up the site to posts and it took off I hung around till it was time to get some sleep.  The Blog was around Page 4 then and I come home from work and see you guys got it all the way up to Page 30 (at the time).  That was loads of catching up to do.  However, very pleased to see many of us made it over here and are eager to contribute (even some posters whose names aren't that familiar, which is good) and settle in to our new home.  Keep up the good work, lads.

They picked Barnett again!
