I don't know if I'll laugh or cry this year if Wentz gets hurt this year and we see Sudfeld taking all the snaps under center.  Because that is who they'll turn to this year.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

local people and fans are defensive of Wentz. National people are more inclined to view his injury history more objectively and say yeah the eagles needed a really good backup plan.

Really good backup plan? Hurts isn't ready to step in and play this year if Wentz gets injuried again.

Thanks, ESPN, for spending 5 minutes on Ben Bartch's smoothie.

Beats the basketball highlights of members of the families of the picks.  At least that was about the pick.

5 picks away ...

I like Amik Robertson or Bryce Hall at 127.  Hopefully one of the two will be there.

I've come to enjoy players I like coming off the board before the Eagles pick.  It's less agonizing than seeing them available as the Eagles bypass them for their science experiments.

Yea, that was weird.  I hate the fluff.  Wish they would have one channel devoted to guys who want to see highlights.  And by highlights I don't mean slow motion B-roll of a player putting his helmet on or running on to the field.  Some freaking highlights as to why this guy got drafted.

I’m surprised how high some of these RBs are going.

will the board survive?

Curtis Weaver DE is falling like crazy as well....didn't he have a late 2nd/3rd round grade?

Sure sounds like the Saints wanted a WR in round 1 and were heavily linked to Reagor.

Lol who cares bro ? So you’re telling me Whiteside displays that type of confidence during games?

You judge football players on how they hold their jersey in front of themselves after being drafted?

This guy looks utterly confused... he must have sucked.

That guy looks like he'd rip your head off..

Now... this guy might be thinking about his second career instead of the game.

Best case scenario: pick traded for 2021 3rd

Worst case scenario: Howie calls in a selection.

Colts just took our guy.

69 picks later.

Calling Anthony McFarland to Dallas to back up Zeke and at more big play power to that offense.

I'd be happy with that. I missed a few picks as I'm reading the newspaper and they made no special effort to announce. I miss the NFL Network coverage

Here's the thing on Hurts, I don't think he fits the profile of a starting QB (top 20), but he fits the profile of the guy who can come off the bench and win games.

Watching McCown was painful, Hurts probably beats Seattle just by making "college" plays, a couple long bombs, a couple long runs.

Whereas Sudfeld, Flacco, etc. are going to struggle off the bench. The backup QB doesn't get the reps, so athleticism is a huge plus for a backup, because he's going to struggle against a playoff caliber defense that puts pressure on him. But teams don't game plan for someone like Hurts off the bench.

Over time, a QB with limited QB skills gets exposed, but even Tebow was effective at first and Hurts >> Tebow.

Hurts is smart, careful, has a strong arm, just lacks the mental processing and accuracy of a top 20 QB.

But in a backup role, with an injury prone starter, he can be the "wild card" that gets you through a couple games.

He's Derek Barnett 2.0.

I want Robinson!!!

Perine is gone?!   I hate you Joe Douglas!

Then they’re like now that he’s got money in his pocket.  How many of these come from rich families?  Is he going organic with his cottage cheese and cage free eggs with all that new found loot?

look at dallas ensuring we dont have the guys to cover their WRs.

And Dallas does it again...

The Cowboys taking everyone I want is so depressing.

I'm not even aware of the undrafted board right now.  Don't want to know.  I'll see our name and then will go check him out.

I feared the Saints pulling a Brandin Cooks on us again with Reagor before the start of the draft.
