Taylor and Wallace add speed and athleticism to the defense, and upgrade the ST pool.

I'm not worried about offense if the OL holds up, and I think Mailata might be the wildcard.

Sanders, Goedert, Ertz, Jeffrey/JJaw, Djax/Reagor - can only put 5 on the field at one time, and Ward showed he's a NFL slot WR.

Now Howie is adding what we needed on defense, Slay as a starter, Taylor and Wallace for depth at STs, all can run and add needed athleticism.

Not ideal, but not a disaster either, we have made the playoffs three straight seasons.

You always love what they do.

The real tragedy here is that, unfortunately, you actually have to put 5 of them on the field at the same time.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I'm pissed that we only have one receiver right now. Deepest draft in years and we have major needs there.

Tyler Johnson, John Hightower, and Quartney Davis still available

Take the Eagles fandom blinders off man.  Look at Denver, LV, Dallas, Buffalo.  Teams are putting gobs of playmakers around their young quarterbacks.  That list doesn't compare to any of them.

Take Alshon and JJAW out right away, they amount to squat.  You're left with Sanders, Ertz, Goedert, DJack and Reagor.  Even if you add in Ward they don't come close talent wise to what teams are doing.

Eagles should trade #190 for Goodwin

Or Saumel.

Would anyone really be shocked if the Eagles take Fromm?

Trade for Samuel too, screw it

Donovan Peoples-Jones would be a nice pick. Idk why people aren't more excited about him.

Yeah, especially this late.  Would be a steal with 145 or 146 if he lasts that long.

Unless they can trade Hurts for a 2021 1st, I don't see any way

Still only one skill position player added through March and your first 4 picks in the draft. It’s absolutely incomprehensible and a fireable offense.

100% agree.  Absolutely pathetic on the Eagles to do this.  We are going to hear so much hot air from Howie after the draft.

Well you saw what we were able to do with our UDFA last year.  We are confident that Davis and Burnett can take that next step.

Wallace is really really good. So for arguments sake let’s pretend he was The pick at 53 and Hurts the pick at 127

I remember last year having them taking Edwards in the fifth and Thorson was an UDFA.

Gabriel Davis  @ 103? Maybe K'von Wallace or Davion Taylor if they go defense.

Damn, times like this when you don't want to be right. Would rather of had Davis, who went right after they picked Wallace.

There went Dye

Yeah but their young QB's are poo poo

So many players I would be thrilled for at 145-146 still on the board.

Our starters at the skill positions in 2020: Sanders, Ertz, Goedert, Jackson, Reagor. That's an above-average group (look around the NFL).
The issue with our skill positions is depth.

Why does everyone say Wallace is undersized?  Because he’s 1 inch below 6’? Seems like a silly argument. He’s the same size as Jenkins just one inch shorter

Yes, since he's gone

They have me so tilted I actually expect them to.

Now they have decent young talent to throw to.  Dak is not poo poo.  Carr is above average.  Josh Allen is going to be good.  High hopes for the kid in Denver

Oh, yes, thank God Luke Bryan will do a song for us. Now I feel better about the pandemic.

Now I have to be tortured by country music?

Are they trying to get women to watch by playing these stupid musicians?

ESPN is literally 7 picks behind and they're having this BS? JC...

How many picks outside the top 20 or so start as rookies?

Once you get past 100, you're looking at depth, STs and long-term upside.

The big move was trading two middle rd picks for Slay, no one we're gonna draft this year will be as good the next two seasons.

The other big move was signing Hargrave, he's better than any DT we could have drafted this year.

We might have gotten to the Championship game with a healthy Wentz, we certainly would have beat Seattle. And that was with ZERO outside WRs

So the real key to this draft right now is good depth, and that includes UDFAs - with Wentz, Cox next year, cap room will be scarce. One reason Howie can't spend $8-9M for a top backup QB even if he wanted to is that lack of room, Hargrave took that money b/c the key to the defense is the DT rotation. With Jackson a ???, it was either DT or WR.
