Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Ok. But even if that’s the case now, the one concussion doesn’t change anything. If that’s the belief, then they shouldn’t have paid him all that money. They previous injuries were worse than the latest one. Him getting concussed on a cheap shot doesn't take him from franchise QB to liability. Yes. Concussions are scary. But it takes more than one to make a guy retire. If what you’re saying is the reason for drafting Hurts, then that means Carson has made it clear he’s close to shutting it down. And honestly that’s the only theory that justifies this pick. That’s scary as hell. Because that’s the only thing that makes sense and Jalen Hurts isn’t a franchise QB. If that’s the case, the pick was fine, but that’s damning for our future because we’re stuck with Wentz’s contract and the picks we have up to get him. That would be tragic on so many levels. Makes Luck retiring look like nothing. I’d rather the team waste a draft pick than that. But one makes more sense than the other

You think this is his first concussion? I had 8 playing from PeeWee to UNLV. That wasn't his first concussion in the NFL. These things add up.

His other injuries were not worse. A torn ACL and a fractured vertebrate can heal back to just about normal. One concussion can lead to long term brain damage. Now imagine what 4 or 5 can do.

I have no idea if that is why they drafted him. But common sense dictates that you don't take a potential starter in the league in the second round if you are 100% positive of your franchise QB's health.

I don't care about the contract because the Eagles can get that money taken off the cap.

traded

Another trade

The draft guide I have has Wallace as a 3rd round pick.  Not that it means anything either way now

It's all just opinions.  What is hard to project is how the team views the fit.  Whether the individual player could excel in the schemes.

Hmm I wonder what dust we grinded that pick into.

Trade to mia...yay

We just traded #164 to the Dolphins... what did we get?  Hopefully a 4th next year.

Eagles traded with Dolphins...

5th for Xavier Howard would be awesome?   Come on!!!!

When you get past the second, guys can go any round, it’s all a crap shoot. I’ve seen and heard Wallace in the third also, 4th round is a fine spot for him.

We traded our pick to Miami, yet got a WR from SF?

Now, will some of you stop complaining about weapon for Carson?

Jackson, Reagor, and Godwin in the slot. Thats fast. It wont last many weeks. But itll be fast.
