I think it'll be boom or bust really.  We got the customary developmental unexciting OL pick, but other than that we got uber athletes who will either be big contributors or fizzle. It'll be a statement draft for sure, one way or the other.  But still even if I conceded the point on Hurts I wouldn't label any other pick as definitively "bad" really

The Saints won a Super Bowl with 25% of the roster being UDFA's.   Now that Wentz got paid, the Eagles need to find some late round / UDFA talent.

We need another Jalen Mills 7th rounder type contributor.

Reagor, Jackson, Alshon, Ward, JJAW, Goodwin, Hightower. 6 of them could make the roster.

Thing with Hightower, he was especially productive despite not being on the field that much. Hope that translates.

 

He’s a body catcher though.

Shocking? Yes. But thinking it over, thinking about it from a TEAM perspective and roster construction view, it makes some sense.

I agree.  Just pointing out that it's really the only pick you can point to right now as questionable.  The rest may not work out but they are solid players at solid positions of need and solid value.

I'm sorry, Denzel Mims was sitting there in the 2nd. Could've traded up a bit for Hamler.

Waiting until the 5th to take John Hightower is unimpressive. F off, Howie. Fraud. 👎
