I am deeply, deeply pleased with the sudden commitment to speed.

Allow me to gloat just once, after the abuse I took about harping on this for the last 5+ years.  My biggest complaint, to beat the horse for one last time, is that we were late to this party over the years and missed many opportunities.

Our offense now has olympic speed for NFL track meets.  It's not perfect.  Some of that speed is old and injury prone (Jackson, Goodwin).  Some of if may or may not translate to football (Goodwin, Hightower).  But now, this offense has spacing.  It has guys that can run.  And if it works in 2020, I think/hope that we'll never be caught without it in spades again.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Shaun Bradley is a "high floor low ceiling pick" in the 6th round...and everyone in round 6 is usually low ceiling.

The reason I say he's high floor...he's a local kid who probably scored off the charts in their interviews.  He wants it badly.  With that speed and tweener size, he's a VERY safe bet to be an excellent asset on ST and a serviceable backup LB for the duration of his rookie contract.

Can't wait for ESPs take now 🤣

Geez how many speed WRs that are body catchers do we need.

All of them.

I asked the question a couple of days ago about what kind of receivers Wentz prefers. We have our answer.

This is the type of pick that gets Goodwin cut if Hightower/Watkins are remotely competent in camp.

Wouldn’t be shocked if they sign a veteran like freeman when the draft is over if they want a decent backup.

Agreed.   Maybe Clement or another veteran.  But I think Scott is now close to a roster lock, unless he unexpectedly totally blows it somehow.

Quez Watkins will make this team....bookmark this post.

I actually would like to see them get quez Watkins and have hightower and him battle it out for the last WR spot on the roster in Tc.

Wow they heard me. The have infiltrated the new message board

I like that Bradley at least has LB size to go with his athleticism. I was worried about a combination of Jatavis and todays pick.

Well, they drafted 3 WRs like I had hoped at least.

We’ll find out if I’m worth a damn at WR scouting. I wanted all three of them. I even put them in buckets of "first receiver taken I’d be happy, second and third” and so on.

We took one from each bucket and in the correct order.

Fair enough.   I prefer the low floor / high ceiling types in the later rounds and UDFA (i.e. Mailata).    But obviously I will be rooting for Bradley to do well.

And traded for one.

Hope we have our 3 WR set for 2021 and onwards with Reagor/Hightower/Watkins.

Goodwin is going to have a fight on his hands for a roster spot this season.

ST player.  Not much of a back up.  Eagles really helped STs in the draft.  Coverage should be outstanding and some good returners.

I’m gonna pass out.

Has anyone checked on e45?   He might be dead from the shock.

Do we take a flyer on Javelin Guidry with his 4.2 speed?

wrong we already have JJAW for variation.

I liked all 3 of them as well.....we're in the same boat....:groovy:

Reagor, Hightower, Watkins and traded for Goodwin.  That goes with Djax, Alshon, Ward and JJAW.

Good competition and let's see who the best 6 are.  I'm sure they will pick another up as an UDFA.

I like it though... If you are looking for 1 guy that can be a true speed demon but cant do it in Round 2... for dubious reasons... bring in the 2 fastest guys to make it to Day 3.   Let the best man win.
