Yup.  Goodwin is the insurance policy on them.  Getting both of these guys could free up that $$$ to push to next year.   If they are stiffs... then Goodwin sticks around.

I was never all in on speed like most were. If I had my druthers I'd take speed, but really I just want really good players, I never cared what their 40 times were. Howie just seems completely tunnel visioned on speed because of a full year of criticism on how slow they were. If these guys work out, awesome. If not, it's gonna look like Howie took speed just to take it.

Then next year if these picks don't work out, they'll shift back to trying to get more bigger guys who have great hands because this strategy didn't work.

I like them both but Watkins seems slightly faster.  Camp will be fun watching these guys run. 

At the beginning of the day people complained he got 1 player to help wentz. 

Now, in addition to that 1 player he has acquired Goodwin, and drafted Hightower and Quez Watkins. 

4 WRs that are 4.3 guys (Hightower ran a 4.4 but hes still on that level where maybe on a good day he runs a 4.3. )

As of now biggest needs imo are pass rush depth and bruiser RB to help open things up for these speed guys.
