Eagles have the 5th most cap space in the NFL.  I can't think of any better use of it than to cut Alshon Jeffery and save $10m on next year's cap.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Okay now all Howie has to do is trade for a d.e. with talent

Seriously we should explore trading Goodwin at some point assuming Hightower and Watkins look good.  Packers would be a prime candidate.

Go get Yannick...2021 picks possibly don't mean a lot.

Eagles don’t win the Super Bowl without the best player on their team that day, Alshon Jeffrey.

And if by chance he gets on the field this year he starts without question.

Jeffery was solid during the Super Bowl but to say he was better than Foles that day is laughable, no offense.

Can they do that because of his injury? I remember a few years back they couldn’t cut Ryan Mathews for the longest time.

Is AJ Green still available? He has some tools at CB and is also CB/S versatile.

It’s not laughable at all. It’s laughable to refer to him as solid.

Can we trade a 2021 6th round pick for Ross?  Asking for a friend.

I’d be interested in the WR

I like the draft I guess. If they would’ve been able to get Nick Harris to this group, I would’ve come out thinking this is a B, even with Hurts, but I have it as a C for now, but let’s see that last pick lol

What's the medical with him?

I'd have been ok with him starting in Round 4.  In fact, I saw him listed in some mocks in Round 2!

It's not that simple. We have the worst cap situation in the NFL in 2021. We basically need the cap to go up by a lot without having to cut guys.

Solid means he was "really good"..especially on that type of stage.

Clearly jjaw didn't benefit from the garbage we had a wr coach. Let's see how he does this year. I think he'll surprise the doubters

Yeah I'm interested in what this new WR coach does

This is the best day 3 draft in franchise history if even half these players hit.

Like the attitude. Coming to make his point:

Might be best to lurk on Yannick until a few weeks into the season.  Prices drive up at the trade deadline.  I'd float an offer somewhere around the time the Jags are 0-4.

If these WRs pan out, then we are pretty much locked into using our 2021 draft resources on edge rushers.  And backup qbs.

Knee. If we’re lucky, one of the reasons he fell so far was because of lack of ability of teams to perform their own medicals and less about the seriousness of the issue

imagine saying that after day 2.

Interesting comment.

I'll have to think about that, but I might end up agreeing with you.

Not talking about what these guys actually do for real, but just speaking to reaction right after a draft has completed, the guys drafted, their skills, and their projected profiles.

Speed, athleticism, production, etc.    This is a very solid Day 3 class.

Good call.  I'd cut him right now.  We save his $10+ M salary this season where he will provide ZILCH.  Better to eat the net dead cap of $10M now in 2020 instead of in 2021.

It would be better if we could somehow trade him instead, but I don't see that happening due to his injury he's currently rehabbing.  No one will expect any production from him in 2020.

So best to just bite the bullet and cut him now.
