Howie is not out of the woods yet.  Passing on legit day 1 starting caliber talent of a backup quarterback still irks me but I'll eat some crow and say what he is doing at the end of the draft has been fun to watch.  Do these guys pan out is the question?

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Only (minor) disappointment today is not trading Rasul Douglas.  Could still happen though.  Would rather a 2021 pick at this point (6th?).

I don't know jr's opinion on Tega, but imho there are some serious tools for Stoutland to work on. A lot of potential. He's got a ton of athleticism for his size and is still learning. Looks like biggest issue is using his hands / punch, but that's very coachable. If, and it's a big if, he's healthy he'd be the bet pick today for the team, which is saying a lot. Legit starting potential again imho

With how sketchy we are at CB, I’m inclined to keep him if we can’t get at least a 5th round pick.

What picks do we have left?

We have pick 233 yet

Whether we will be next years Dream Team or serious contender will depend on if Andre Dillard is a good at LT or not.

I’d be shocked since big receivers matter in the red zone. Can’t just rely on TEs.

That's why we have two, a speedy guys for jet sweeps, and a 6'5" QB... plus, you are forgetting about our awesome new RZ weapon.. Jalen Hurts.

TE #3 right now is Josh Perkins. Hunter Bryant makes sense? He's not a great athlete, but a blocking TE could work.

I’ll bet Aaron Rodgers looks more pissed right now than he did in the green room on his draft night.

Hard to feel bad for him, though — he royally screwed over McCarthy

Is Lamar Jackson still out there? Would be a great way to end an awesome day 3.

I can agree with this logic.  It's just that it appears Schwartz wants him out, so if that's the case best to get something for him.

Otherwise yes, we're doing the saturation plan at CB2 just like we're doing at WR.  Hoping one of Jones, Maddox, or Douglas can seize the position.

So I’m convinced that sharing players’ sad stories, having to point out that their mom played tennis at some random, and randomly playing quarantine concerts is a way to draw women into tuning into the draft.

Kind of like how most women are way more interested into the halftime show at the super bowl and judging other women’s outfit selection.

Willekes still out there? Nice grab Vikings

Would Jacksonville be interested in a 6'1" mobile QB who has been compared to Russel Wilson? 🤣

More like Tavaris Jackson (RIP)

They clearly have soured on him and don't see him fitting in.  Getting rid of him saves I think $2.3 million which could then be rolled over to next year where we need all the space we can get.

Poor Nicky6... daBears currently have 10 TE on their roster.

When does the UDFA signing start?

right about now.

I’m pretty surprised the Eagles didn’t go DL at any point in this draft; must mean they like Avery, Sweat and Miller .....

.... or perhaps they go back to JAX with an offer of a 2021 2nd and Rasul Douglas for Ngakoue .....

A comment I got from from a friend is that his wife now LOVES the draft... because she likes looking at peoples living rooms.

The the commish gets on TV and says the feedback he got about seeing the live reactions is something they want to keep.

Basically, yes... they want to turn NFL coverage into an event rather than a sport. I wouldn’t be surprised if in 10 years every single game has a halftime show.

Hands can be taught.  He's got great feet.
