Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Otherwise yes, we're doing the saturation plan at CB2 just like we're doing at WR.

Given how hit or miss the draft can be, especially in later rounds, that's not a bad plan.

That's why we have two, a speedy guys for jet sweeps, and a 6'5" QB... plus, you are forgetting about our awesome new RZ weapon.. Jalen Hurts.

Wrong. JJAW size is needed with our shrimpy/speedy receivers, especially in the middle of the field and redzone. With the deep threats now on the roster, I foresee JJAW having a serious bounce back year.

He was joking.

It’s not laughable at all. It’s laughable to refer to him as solid.

You have the weirdest hot takes.

I can’t believe he hasn’t been traded today.

Hurts and next year’s 2nd for Yannick

I'm not fond of the Bradley pick at all. Would've rather traded that pick and Rasul for Breida.

I need to work on it, I guess.

TE #3 right now is Josh Perkins. Hunter Bryant makes sense? He's not a great athlete, but a blocking TE could work.

We'll get Burton back on a vet minimum deal.

Already signed in Indy.

he signed with the Colts.  I'm content with Perkins as the #3.  Bring in 2 UDFA TE and see who comes out on top.

The biggest questions for 2020, in order of importance:

1. Can the coaching staff and Wentz channel the speed?  It will be an adjustment for both of them.  They need to turn the track speed into separation and receptions on the field.  The new speed dynamic playing off Ertz/Goedert/Sanders underneath needs to be the strength of this team...the backbone upon which we win games.  That's a big ask.

2.  How will the edge rush hold up?  Graham, at 32, and Barnett, at any age, are not imposing bookends.  The depth behind them has some explosion and athleticism (more than the starters even), but is unproven for both effectiveness and durability.  They WILL be leaned on.

3.  Can Schwartz and a #2 CB step up?  Or will offenses dictate the matchups and enjoy watching their #1 WR just destroy Maddox/Jones on every play?

4.  I put this last because we are left to assume it will be OK at this point.  If not, the season is screwed anyway.  Is Dillard a quality LT?

Concerns others may have that I am not worried about: #3 RB, safety, OL depth.

The question everyone will be asking is how Hurts is worked into the offense.  But that's more of a side show and less consequential than everything above.

Forget the fact that he can’t run or catch

I’m pretty surprised the Eagles didn’t go DL at any point in this draft; must mean they like Avery, Sweat and Miller .....

.... or perhaps they go back to JAX with an offer of a 2021 2nd and Rasul Douglas for Ngakoue .....

I think this was a really bad draft for edge rushers after #2.

On the clock for the last time!

On #4... The eagles have some options even if Dillard can’t play. The kid we just drafted started three seasons in the SEC. He’s big and athletic. Has the tools to be a starter. And then there is the ultimate wildcard in Mailata. Who knows where he is at with his development, but again, he has all the tools to be a starter.

Who?

TDN recently had Toohill as a very underrated hidden gem in this draft. Nice pick to end it. 3 LBs is nice.

I guess since we passed on RB, maybe we add a FA like Clement or Hyde.

Wonder if the Eagles are done at CB or free agency. They still could add a CB,RB,DE
