Maybe I’m just a sucker for the player, but I’ve always loved Freeman’s game. If he has anything remotely left in the tank, I’d like to take a chance on him because of his versatility. I’m not sure if he’s shot or just had a couple injury plagued seasons.

Toohill is going to be on the practice squad this year and that will be fine.

I don’t even know what a "great day 3” even is anymore, the far majority of 5-7th rounders never even amount to being quality backups let alone starters. At this point it’s just throwing darts at a board.

Every year we get a player who was never supposed to be there who ends up sucking and then sometimes there will be a player no one heard of who actually turns into something.

I stop grading after day 2 lol. At this point It’s really just guys you’ve heard of and guys you haven’t.

Well, maybe I misspoke. He played LB at Stanford but maybe this is all about edge rushing. Maybe he will be a DE here. 

I wonder, depending on how the rest of the off season goes, would the NFL consider expanding the PS by another 5 players or so?  If you aren't going to get a chance to evaluate these guys or even work with them before the season starts, would it make sense to let teams keep them around longer?

Speaks to how unathletic this class of edge rushers was.  While his numbers are very good, they shouldn't be top of the class.

He's definitely an unusually good athlete for the position at this point in the draft.

Surprised we didn't draft a RB, do we resign Cory Clement? Our RBs atm are Sanders & Scott, maybe an undrafted FA or vet RB will be added.

The shift in focus towards sick athleticism and away from often meaningless college production is most welcome.

I have heard they really like Holyfield.  Highlights are decent.......................

Could be, but i think you want him rushing the passer. He’s pretty explosive. Let him pin his ears back on 3rd down.
