I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

UDFA list. Maybe some of these got picked while I was making the list but whatever.

RB- Leake, James Robinson,  Corbin, Warren, JJ Taylor, Killins, Calais, Xavier Jones

WR- Lipscomb, Bin Victor, Callaway, Dez Patmon, Trishton Jackson, Tyrie Cleveland, Isaiah Wright, Easop Winston

TE- Breeland, Stephen Sullivan, Thad MOSS,

DE- Tuszka, Garvin, Galeai

LB- Mohamed Barry

CB- Samuels, Shyheim Carter, Bassey, Guidry, Nevelle Clarke, Tino Ellis

S- Nigel Warrior, Josh Metellus, Reggie Floyd, AJ Green

I don't think we'll be all that attractive to UDFA WRs

Bring back Clement and Shady and we're good!

Shady is done and Clement is coming off of a shoulder injury.  They need to add UDFA and possible a vet pick up besides McCoy.

Judging by the Pats picks, they have a vet WB lined up, or they are really tanking.  And I can't see them tanking

:offtopic:  Some quick cooking advice, if you guys have a chance.  I have a couple of 4 oz chuck steaks I need to do something with tonight.

Any good recommendations??

Oh Chris Gocong. Guy had like 20 sacks or something crazy at Cal Poly but he was seldom used as a pass rusher. Then when they traded him to a 3-4 team he was bumped to ILB. Never understood that.

And the ONE time we used him as a hybrid DE/LB and let him actually rush the passer he was an absolute monster against the Pats in their undefeated regular season. It made zero sense.

Watching him trying to cover Jason Witten was painful

PFF is different in that regard than every report I ever read. I dont include him because he seems like an old school box safety. Never did watch him because I wasnt interested.

Would make it a good draft.

Ooh ish yeah I'd freaking love that. Howie would go some way to redeeming himself. Fantasy land that though.

The most frustrating thing.  Both he and Andy Studabaker were pass rush nightmares in college and we tried to make them SLB.  That Patriots game showed what Gocong should have been the entire time.  The Eagles really ruined his career.

Jimmy posted a preliminary depth chart :

Offense
QB Carson Wentz  Jalen Hurts  Nate Sudfeld  Kyle Lauletta

Obvious holes, an additional RB but that's a relatively easy one to fill. I don't have many issues with this roster; think it's solid in theory. Outside CB2 is a question, as is CB4 if Douglas is traded (at this point I'd be reticent to). Could use more juice rushing the passes, but I have hope someone like Sweat or Avery can stand out. There are bodies there.

He averaged 5.8 yeards per carry, 19 receptions on 22 targets, 6 of those for touchdowns. Only 6 pass attempts. Again, i hate the pick, but taysom was incredibly productive and efficient.

Eh... of all the things they do on offense, I'll still rank giving it to Hill least. Rather have Brees, Kamara, Thomas getting the ball.

Nope.  Just my stove and broiler.

RB and CB could do with some work there. RB should be easily done I mean there will be plenty of guys to bring in.

i forgot about Elijah Holyfield. The guy is a monster strength wise

It’ll be interesting to see if they’d give JJAW a roster spot over Ward.

And while CB doesn't look great, it's still significantly better than last year. They also have Mills that could slide back down in case of emergency.

I'm not sure I'd go that far? It's better but not significantly. Actually no it is significantly better though I'm concerned by Maddox on the outside.

I think the science of a slow cook to start and then a high sear at the end makes sense for this kind of cut
