Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Pretty solid with one major blemish. Imagine a day one starter at LB instead of Hurts. I imagine Mims. But today was really good.

Agreed. I don't even know how to feel about this draft. I love a lot of what they did, and don't hate anything. With the one major exception being the Jalen Hurts pick which I think is one of the dumbest picks in team history.

Chiefs got Lavert Hill.

Denzel Mims instead of Hurts and pick a different QB instead of one of HIghtower/Watkins

That works too

As an UDFA I love this.  More RIDICULOUS speed.  I kind of wonder if they will look at him as a WR, or at least a hybrid type of player.

that's a pretty damn good draft, even with the shocker of hurts.  while many don't value him and think he's the one negative of the draft, i think he could actually be the steal.  don't think i'd change any of the picks.

No sure. It seems Boston Scott has competition.

I really want Warren or Corbin as an actual ball carrier type backup RB.

Jets signing Lamar Jackson.

Anthony Gordon signing in Seattle.

TE Hunter Bryant signing with the Lions.

If there's one thing this draft will answer for us it's the question: do the Eagles just suck at evaluating talent or were they focusing on the wrong attributes in previous drafts?

If they hit on a bunch of these picks then maybe a mere philosophical shift can give them a better hit rate in drafts going forward with the drafting of athletes and fast players.

If not, it tells us it probably doesn't matter what they emphasize. Size, speed, physicality, whatever... if you can't evaluate talent then you'll struggle to draft regardless.

Looking forward to the answer either way.

I think we may look towards the trade market for a true #2 RB.

This kid is definitely in the 3rd down/gadget mold.

Given everything we’ve done today, the one bad pick yesterday Hurts less.

Maybe they took Hurts because of the 17 game season starting in 2021? Might need 2 to keep Wentz fresh.

Memphis RB Taylor to the Packers.

I can see why Barwin likes Tooley, from the presser.  Just seems a decent guy

What backup QB would ya'll have signed for the low that would play as well as Jalen Hurts? Not saying there isn't one, just curious.
