Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Pretty solid with one major blemish. Imagine a day one starter at LB instead of Hurts. I imagine Mims. But today was really good.

Willie Gay, a legit linebacker that has all the attributes of a three down guy,  was sitting there for us. So was Logan Wilson. Once again they bypass that red headed stepchild of a position. It’s really too bad and a shame. This defense will never reach its pinnacle as long as they continue to ignore it. Hopefully they hit on one of these drafted linebackers. Kid from Colorado has really good speed that shows on the field and delivers some vicious hits. Edwards and Bradley can compete for the two down run stuffing role. Maybe snag another on or two UDFA’s

They really did a fantastic job and got vindication by taking Lamb.

Eagles signing Baylor CB Grayland Arnold

I already love Wallace on twitter.

NFC East opponents having monster drafts. Cowboys had the best draft of anyone I thought and the Redskins got the best pass rusher of probably the last 5 years coming out of college. Chase Young is going to be a freeaaaaaaaaaaak.

What backup QB would ya'll have signed for the low that would play as well as Jalen Hurts? Not saying there isn't one, just curious.

i think most that didn't like the pick would rather sign any joe schmoe / insert retired veteran that needs to come out of retirement / see what sudfeld has.

and if wentz were to go down, complain about why we lack a quality backup to the most important position on the field.  and how howie ignored that position and got another thorson instead.  they'd itch about how wentz is glass and howie should've gotten an adequate backup.  they'd then spout about how brady was available and if howie cared about the position or winning he'd have signed him.

We are at 4 UDFA so far.

RB Killins

CB Arnold

TE Togiai

C Juriga

another speedster, basically a bigger version of Sproles

Smaller.  Sproles has 20 pounds on him.  But Killins is faster.  Legitimately one of the fastest players in CFB. Like, possibly Ruggs tier.

I don't think Arnold kid is an outside CB based on what I read. Another guy that loves practice. They seem to be pushing for that on the bottom of the roster and PS. Would have to carve out a solid role on ST to have a chance at the roster

That was my thinking too. Any good backup would have cost a lot. They got one for a cheap rookie deal. But if there's a good cheap QB to sign I'm all for changing my opinion.

CB and S. Coould play either.

Listening to some of today's podcasts was very therapeutic. I highly suggested it if you're still as bummed as I am about this weekend. Solak and Kist tore the Eagles apart for the Hurts pick.
