He said it’s a fair comp for how they might use him, not how they compare athletically. Hurts can do similar things.

This is the Vick/McNabb crap from ten years ago all over again, and (shocker), Mornhinweg was here for that. It's a terrible philosophy and an amateur offense.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I think JJAW gets one more year, it comes down to Hightower and Watkins.  There moves today show me Ward has a place as the slot WR.

Alshon is gone.

Yup i think ward has a place. Could jjaw play in the slot?

But Lamar's ability to take it to the house every time he takes off with the football in itself changes and dictates how teams defend the Ravens offense and that's just something Hurts doesn't possess, so when using him we won't be able to take advantage of that. Lamar's legs are the primary driving force of everything the Ravens do with him and everything teams do to defend him.

I don't see how it compares any way you slice it.

Maybe it’s a 10 yard gain instead of 50? Still effective, but not explosive.

Small back but ultra explosive and possibly the fastest RB in college football.  Rumored to have run a 4.27.  Was not invited to combine and has a chip on his shoulder with something to prove.....

Sheesh he is explosive and fast.  Let's not forget Noel Divine however.  Would be fantastic to have that speed on offense.

Sucks seeing Mackenzie Milton out there making plays.  He was a flat out stud before he destroyed his knee.

Not to rain on the speed parade, but honestly we have just one drafted player that we can comfortably say can play, and that’s Reagor. The rest are lottery tickets and solid bets.

I agree completely. And Reagor with his upside also was one of the riskier WRs at the top of this class. Which is why doubling up in round 2 would have been really helpful.

But had to get that backup QB!

If Alshon really is part of the 2020 plans then both JJAW and Ward could be on the outside looking in.

NFC East opponents having monster drafts. Cowboys had the best draft of anyone I thought and the Redskins got the best pass rusher of probably the last 5 years coming out of college. Chase Young is going to be a freeaaaaaaaaaaak.

😴

Boring...

I remember the 2015 draft.  There was this kind of outrage after that too.  Cowboys drafted Byron Jones in Round 1.  Then they came back with Randy Gregory in Round 2.  Then they signed La'el Collins as a UDFA because of that weird legal situation.  And people cried about how they got 3 1st round picks...

Eagles got Nelson Agholor, Eric Rowe and Jordan Hicks in the top 3 rounds.

And then 2 years later, Gregory is out of the league on a substance abuse suspension.  And the Eagles are doing this:

and this:

So... when Dallas turns all these great drafts into something... wake me up.

Oh... and here's what they are doing...  impressive drafting over the years....

Not being a smart a$$ but what qualifies as relief?  Food for families without jobs?  Medical supplies?  "research" money for a vaccine?  Does the NFL pocket a percentage like the Susan B Comen organization does every October?  Would love to see the direct impact of where the donations go.  There are donations being made left and right but I just don't see what's actually being done with it.  Could turn in to a huge cash grab if people don't pay attention.

You missed the playoff game in January?  Yes, we had to get a backup QB

Wow.  Great deal.

Guys, pretty sure we have the fastest WR/RB corps in the NFL now...(Listing just the speed guys)

WR: DJax 4.3, Watkins, 4.3, Reagor 4.3, Hightower, 4.4 (Play speed is 4.3), Goodwin 4.2

RB: Sanders 4.4 (Play speed is faster), Killins, 4.2, Scott 4.4

The best part about it is that their "Game speed" is just as fast as their timed speed.  It's going to be a fun camp when these guys start betting each other who's the fastest...lol.

The one where our backup QB was doing quite well and blew out his hamstring? Yeah, I remember that. I also remember Cam Newton and Jameis Winston being free agents who wouldn't cost you your 2nd rounder. I also remember Nate Sudfeld still exists.

It was a horrible draft pick.

Is it all going to relief though? Wasn't there reports that the breast cancer awareness fund didn't all go a couple years ago?

Sudfeld has had 3 years and I don’t think he’s ever produced a point in the NFL.  He also lost his backup job last year to a 40-year old journeyman.

Newton and Winston are not in the backup QB market in their minds; even if they were, both suck

How did this guy go undrafted 🤔

Kinda sad, actually.

lol Jalen Hurts sucks. He'll be lucky to be half as good in the NFL than Cam Newton and Winston ever were. Just an indefensible mind boggling selection.

OK, that was funny.
