lol Jalen Hurts sucks. He'll be lucky to be half as good in the NFL than Cam Newton and Winston ever were. Just an indefensible mind boggling selection.

For your mind, yes

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Wait so he really hasn't been healthy all this time? I didn't even remember what the injury was. What was wrong with his shoulder?

Didn't Howard have a mysterious shoulder injury too?

How did this guy go undrafted 🤔

Size.  5'8 175 lbs.

Over the past 14 seasons, Dallas' starting QB has been a UDFA and then a 4th round pick.  And I'll stipulate that Romo and Dak are pretty good.

Yet without any material draft resources committed to the most important position, they are only 3-6 in the playoffs.

Satisfyingly inept.

Literally, that’s it. That’s the reason. He’s healthy, crazy fast, has good hands. If he were 2 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier he’d be a top 100 pick most likely.

Of course, this is the NFL. Size does matter. He’ll never be less back. But if you can get him the ball on returns and a handful of plays on offense, there’s a good chance he’ll make a big play or two.

Have seen about a thousand takes on the pick in Philly over the last 24 hours and I think you're the only one who likes it. So you're definitely Jon Snow'ing this one

Kinda sad, actually.

I believe it.  Going virtual probably saved these guys dozens if not hundreds of hours.  Think about drive time alone.

Is it all going to relief though? Wasn't there reports that the breast cancer awareness fund didn't all go a couple years ago?

I just posted something similar a few posts before you.  There are SO many donations being made now to go towards "Corona Relief".  It's great that Americans are giving but don't for one second think these aren't corporations who know how gullible Americans are.  They say donate, Americans say how much, especially when it's generic as Corona Relief.  Might as well be George Costanza's Human Fund.

Perhaps another Reagor fan.

Lol.

Not making fun of you, that just made me chuckle.

If Alshon really is part of the 2020 plans then both JJAW and Ward could be on the outside looking in.

if they see anything at all in JJAW that they still like, I can't see him getting cut in favor of Alshon - just simply the short vs long term roster implications between the two players.

Howie's offseason motto...."Can he run?  Is he healthy?  Does he love to play?"

Not a bad starting point for evaluations.

Whether I like it or not isn’t really relevant; I wouldn’t have made the pick.

Doug Pederson and Marty Mornhinweg decided on the pick and Howie approved it.  Both Roseman and Pederson have brought a Super Bowl to Philly — so I’m going to be open minded to what their plan is, rather than cry, bish and moan like the other takes you’re on board with

Not to rain on the speed parade, but honestly we have just one drafted player that we can comfortably say can play, and that’s Reagor. The rest are lottery tickets and solid bets.

That’s kind of the norm, though. Even 2nd round picks bust at over A 50% rate.

Lottery tickets.  Although it would be close against the "football players"

We won't have to make that decision until halfway through the season at the earliest as no doubt Alshon will start the season on the PUP.

If what blindside says is accurate then he won't be playing at all this year.

I don't expect him to play for the Eagles again, one way or the other.

:offtopic:  Some quick cooking advice, if you guys have a chance.  I have a couple of 4 oz chuck steaks I need to do something with tonight.

Any good recommendations??

Yes!  I prepared some chuck steaks a few weeks back.  The best thing to do with them is to............put 'em in your butt.
