I can’t wait for the gym to open back up but Feel like the gym is like the highest place for somebody’s going to get sick because people don’t wash their machines or weights after they’re done using them. they don’t wash their hands before using them. you’re just gonna have a ton of people who you would think after all this would be more hygienic but are not

A lot depends on where you go. If you go to a big box gym where the membership is $10-$20/month and they have 10-15k members then yeah, those places will get gross because of the quantity and quality of member.

But I can assure you the gym I work at is much more sanitary and safe than any grocery store, gas station, or liquor store.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I think it would. McLaurin as the Z, Jefferson as the X or Y/slot.

But I agree that Jefferson, in general, isn't a good fit for us. There's no doubt about that really. It also doesn't change the fact that he's a really good WR.

Jefferson at the X isn’t good. As the slot, yeah, but we don’t need a slot specialist. We need good outside receivers to rotate into the slot. We would waste Jefferson here.

I mean a year from now. I assume Sudfeld is the 2 this year.

To start the year, yes, most likely. Of course, Wentz went from rookie-with-clipboard to starter in a blink when we traded Sleeves.

Josh Adams was such an enigma.  ND/Stanford from 2017 was on last night and he was just so good in college. He wasn't bad here as a rookie FA.  Not sure what keeps him from being good. Is he too upright? Not enough wiggle?

What the hell happened to this guy?  He led our team in rushing in 2018 as a 22 year old rookie.  Over 500 yards rushing and 4.3 ypc.  Really a bright spot.

Then we just dumped him.  Can anyone explain?  I'm going to assume he missed a lot of holes and the OL made him look better than he is on the game film.

I think Jefferson would do well as the X.

A normal offseason, a ridiculously high football IQ and elite talent certainly helped.

I cant believe Barnett is stealing 10M this year. We dont have a choice but that hurts. If its a 1 year bridge to an extension I guess ok but if its his last year here Id rather 10M for a 1 year bandaid with Griffen. Or even 3 years for Griffen on a contract similar to Bennett's with us.

Oh well...

Agholor should have been mandated to wear a prison-issue orange jumpsuit instead of an Eagles uniform on game days.  He was stealing money on his entry level deal; never mind the $9.4M option the team picked up last season.

True.

This. He bounced a couple of big runs, but for the most part he had wide open lanes to run through. He was the Ward of running backs — a guy who looked better than he was because of the situation. With Adams, he happened to get the big lanes. With Ward, he got a coverage bust and mostly beat LBs in coverage and found the holes in zones.

They each had an impressive play or two but mostly were JAGs.

Its a new Warren video. We are set with RB2

Of course, that doesn’t show his pass pro.  I really like Warren II but his pass pro will remind you of Wendell Smallwood

Any time they gave him the ball in short yardage he was pushed back by school children.  The Eagles had other guys who filled the niche he did well, but better

For probably 29 or the 32 QBs in the league I would agree with you.  But Wentz is unique, and I think he should be given the benefit of the doubt here.  He has more talent and ability than anyone not named Patrick Mahommes.  Why not give him 1 more year without dumb fans whispering about the backup QB AND give him a few unique deep weapons?  1 more year of no distractions + weapons, and if he gets hurt, then I'll eat some crow and bite the bullet.

I don't think the controversy will be a big deal. At least not this year, and probably not next year unless Wentz gets hurt. And if he does, honestly, then that probably means the thought process behind the pick was a solid one. Also, I think Doug and Howie really liked Jalen Hurts as a prospect.

If GB had any interest whatsoever in Goodwin they would have traded for him. He cost nothing in terms of draft pick value and contract after the restructure. A 2021 5 is a pipedream.

Nah, I believe in Howie.

We — I — b****d a lot about our handling of the WR position back in March. How are we feeling about it now?

I still don’t love the position group, but with Reagor and Goodwin we’ve added legitimate speed. Hightower and Watkins were good process picks but more likely than not to be inconsequential in the long run. I’m giving Howie a C-.

In fairness, he didn't post the video, its just a capture of his Instagram live he was doing with fans. His wife quickly realized she was opening her mouth too much also.

Posting video, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube - all the same. Don’t do that. Not good for team.  How much stupid posting do we see from Eagles players?

People can point out all the reasons they want to say Hurts will be ready to be the top backup in 2021, but it’s not a given. Folks are getting ahead of themselves.

People get ahead of themselves with all draft picks. There's no guarantee on any of the draft picks pan out.

well, hes a rookie back. Thats pretty usual. Though its one reason I LOVED DeeJay Dallas. Hes pro ready there. Extremely good. He will probably be a beast for Seattle early on.

I feel great about it. If Hightower or Quez arent looking helpful at all we still have an even better WR draft next year.

Loaded seems strong, but I think we’re in good shape for 2020.

The secondary should be significantly better despite the loss of Jenkins. Improving from Darby to Slay is as big of a jump as imaginable. We added one of the best nickels in football. We appear to have the best safety depth we’ve ever had (albeit lacking in overall quality).

Hargrave and Jackson will make Cox, Barnett and Graham better. The LBs ... still bad.

Offensively, getting 16 combined games out of DJax and Goodwin should make a huge difference just for spacing. If Reagor can pick up the offense, he should provide at worst an inconsistent but explosive receiver.

Is there anyone in the NFC we can’t beat?

Next year and there is nothing that keeps them from doing an extension between now and next year that can change up the terms.
