Bradley... You've done some really good films. You've done some garbage too.

Sure, but my favorite was of course the A Team

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I'll tell you what he sure has put together quite the long career.  Just looked it up.  35 years old, going on a 13 year career.  Averages out to 400 yards per year.  Has never topped 800 yards.

Shows the value of speed, then again there are other speed guys who can't hang on for a year.

I realize that it was only the Giants, but I'm surprised how many times JJaw got open to not have Wentz look his way. There are definitely issues between the two in terms of chemistry/being on the same page.

Running into your own tight ends and receivers on multiple occasions while they were running correct routes probably deterred Wentz from even thinking about looking in his direction.

I was more impressed when he ran into Andre Dillard. I wasn't even mad, it was amazing.

Thinking of what fans?   You can’t lump all fans in together, obviously.  Since there’s always disagreement in here between Eagle’s fans.

They won the SB.  Good for them.  Lurie signing off on the notion that their goal is to be a "QB Factory”, tells me all I need to know.

I'm pretty sure Lurie allows everyone to do their job.  Howie saying "QB factory" was corny but not that big a deal.

If the team doesnt win and make the playoffs consistently then Howie and DP will be gone.  He's not a super hands on owner like Jerry Jones.  He lets guys do their jobs and if they dont do it good enough, then they're out.

So Fran Duffy's EMB username was fdiggle fan?

I wonder what Bradley Cooper went by. RememberTheKoy maybe.

I thought Fran's user name was well known.  He posted here when he was a High School kid and ran the mock draft contests.

So your threshold for no TE being that crazy is a guy who hung himself in jail after losing his lover?

The Patriots also had the greatest 2-TE offense in NFL history.  This. Is. Not. That.  Offense.

You think it's safer to assume that Goedert is content as the #2 TE in an offense that also just jacked up its investment in the WR position?  And your argument that it could happen is the one time in NFL salary cap history that the Patriots made it work so well...when half the rules never even applied to them?

Go ahead, stick your head in the sand, and hold your breath until both Ertz and Goedert both sign long-term contracts with the same team.  Let's see if it happens.

Haha I knew you’d take it there. You never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity to learn something. I’ll spell it out-

if a TE would sign the highest contract ever to play BEHIND another TE, it can happen again. It’s amazing to me how many people on these boards see having two solid players at a position as a sign that one of them needs to go.

nope. We’ve seen it countless times.

Does anyone think we are done at RB? Or do we think they'll bring in another experienced RB? I certainly hope they do.

They currently have 5, seems light i imagine they could bring in another body or 2 to compete.

We ever figure out what Lane was teasing?

If Clement is healthy and can stay healthy he can help the eagles win.

Hes not great at any one thing but hes good at a lot and a good special teamer to boot. Those guys are invaluable as bottom of roster guys and its not like he hasnt shown he can contribute its just been 2 years.

Im rooting for the guy.

Frank done fell in love.

"The people around them" are not around them. Seriously. COVID-19 is isolating us all. Add to that desperate reporters having nothing to write about and this is what you get.

Got word today that a friend of mine's daughter (she's a nurse that's been in a Covid ward) is showing symptoms and is getting tested.  The really bad news on that is that my friend's wife (well, she's a friend too!) has just about every conceivable condition that would quickly exacerbate the devastating nature of this disease.   I'm not sure how careful she's (the nurse) been about isolating herself, nor how much contact she's had with her mother, but I pray that it has been enough.

Not sure if this was posted earlier.

With moves like this, it's clear that Jones wants to win more than Lurie.

Sorry, hope things work out.

My wife always tells me, " itll all work out in the end and if doesnt its not the end"

Because he wants his new receiver to wear a specific jersey number?

In fairness he's a kid. My oldest is interviewing for a web designer job with a pretty decent sized local business and he asked me to proof read his thank you letter for the interview. In it he put that although he was nervous at first that their interview process helped put him at ease. I told him to re-phrase and take out the nervous part.

Of course.  That's not a big knock on Mims, just a bad look for him (not worth taking him off the board though).  My issues with him is that I never saw the athleticism on the field that he tested at the Combine... and he kept rising and rising.  He's very raw.  Now, that's not to say that he can't turn out really well in the end.  But, he went to the Jets.  That's not a great situation for him.  Who was the last raw WR that they drafted and were able to really develop?   Some organizations just seem to be institutional stuck in quick sand, and front office changes, coaching changes, even owner changes just never seem to change anything.  The Jets are one such franchise.

Absolutely not no. I'd have been disappointed if you had Brad. Can I call you Brad?

I can respect that.  He probably knew he wasn't going to get much money offered elsewhere... which means, you get to the place you are most comfortable, with the best chance to show your wares.  Smart move by him.   Alternatively, INDY would like have been a soft landing spot.
