I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

They currently have 5, seems light i imagine they could bring in another body or 2 to compete.

5 but not really 5...

I'll tell you what he sure has put together quite the long career.  Just looked it up.  35 years old, going on a 13 year career.  Averages out to 400 yards per year.  Has never topped 800 yards.

Shows the value of speed, then again there are other speed guys who can't hang on for a year.

He's also been a competent returner.

With moves like this, it's clear that Jones wants to win more than Lurie.

Someone should ask Amari Cooper if that means he's the number 2 WR on the team now.

Got word today that a friend of mine's daughter (she's a nurse that's been in a Covid ward) is showing symptoms and is getting tested.  The really bad news on that is that my friend's wife (well, she's a friend too!) has just about every conceivable condition that would quickly exacerbate the devastating nature of this disease.   I'm not sure how careful she's (the nurse) been about isolating herself, nor how much contact she's had with her mother, but I pray that it has been enough.

It is an awful thing. This virus attacks in so many ways. We are friends with a family that all contracted the virus. The good news is that they have all come through it with minimal discomfort, including the ailing grandfather.

Lamb should have told him he didn’t want to be associated with those embarrassing candyasses — it’s not like Jones can get rid of him yet.  Wear #10 if you want ....

He’s a ‘yes man’ already and he hasn’t even started at work yet.

Most nurses take this stuff pretty seriously. I'll bet she stayed away from Ma

I don't see the connection between your assertion and your supporting evidence in the tweet.

So what's the deal with K'Von Wallace?  Had the lowest percentage of missed tackles for safeties, graded via PFF as the best coverage Safety, and also had the 4th highest SPARQ rating at 96.8 behind Dugger, Chinn, and Sneed.  Wondering why he fell to the 4th round based on all that?

Nope, I'm a defense loving kinda guy.

well, PFT might be wrong because not a single scouting report anywhere gave him credit for being that kind of cover guy.

While he was athletic at the combine, he ran in the 4.5s so not exceptional speed either. Kind of average speed for the position.

4th did still seem a little low for him. I think we got a nice value there.

That’s awful to hear. Hopefully she was careful and didn’t have contact with her mother and has been isolating.

Only 5'11", not a blazing 40 time.  Moved around a lot didn't play '1' position.

Frankly, the more I read and hear about Wallace the more I fall in love with him.  Just a good guy, a good leader, and exactly the type of player that this defense needs... a guy who can do it all.

I'm not saying he hasn't.  It's the offseason.   There were a quite a few rumors about him possibly being traded so just going over all scenarios as why.  There might not be any truth to them but then again there might be.  If there is truth, what would cause the Eagles to sour on him so fast.

For all we know Dillard is out there grinding away in the gym and using the poor performance at RT as motivation to be the best tackle he can be.  We just don't know but it's fair to question what kind of player he is going to be.

Fair enough.

Maybe size? Hes only 5'11" barely 200 lbs.

Not the biggest dude probably dropped him a bit im guessing???

I think he was a steal in the 4th

He's 100% embraced Philly and the fans online also. Just a really likable guy all around so far. I do think he's going to end up getting over hyped though.

That reminds me of my one interaction/story with Alvin Harper.  When I was the chef at a country club in the dc area early 2000's.  He was at the bar telling a story about Michael Westbrook and Stephen Davis.  Anyone remember the training camp fight between those two, when all 3 were with the Redskins?  Well the story Harper told, was Davis called Westbrook a name referencing Westbrook's "relationship" with Kordell Stewart at Colorado.  There were rumors about Stewart for years.  Harper made it sound like it was more than just rumors, cause Westbrook took exception only in a way that it had to have been true.

Lol i remember Davis ear holed westbrook didnt know thats why. Wouldnt surprise me about Kordell.
