Sauvignon Blanc is my favorite too.  Not so much any oaked wines.

My wife is all about sauvignon blanc.  I've learned to acquire the taste.  I prefer reds.  The oenophiles heads will spin on this, but I just enjoy whites better when they taste like apple juice.  I can't appreciate the nuance of a dry white.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Raiders take Ruggs at 12 then Jeudy at 19.

He’s a better WR imo than aiyuk. I know coaches at Arizona have told me such. They feared him more than Aiyuk. Not that they thought aiyuk was a cakewalk just that they thought shenault was much better. The kid had played on 3 different offense and 3 different OCs in 3 years. He was productive this year playing through injuries. If you put him on ASU i think he has better numbers than aiyuk. The fact Colorado has had poor talent around him and less than stellar coaching. To me it’s all about durability with him.

I'm really...really trying my hardest to like Shenault.  But it's soooo difficult to get past that near 4.6 40 time.  What was the story behind that?  Was he nursing some sort of injury?...because tbh, he looks faster than that on film.

This is a big reason why I like Aiyuk. Love him as a slant runner. Easy separation.

Core muscle injury.  Surgery followed.  I love him because he can truck people, looks to have Deebo Samuel versatility, and has a big frame.  Also seems like he has that blue collar hunger we love.

Well, 2013 had 3 OTs in the top 4.  That would be tough to beat.

He had a muscle core injury when running. He had it during the 2019 season. He went the route desean did. When he ran the forty finally went and needed surgery. So he basically ran a 4.59 with a muscle core injury that required surgery.

Prepping for tomorrow.

And we got the best one out of the bunch....

His backstory is really incredible. It’s on SI. Kid plays with a chip on his shoulder and has gone through a ton in his life. He’s one of those kids who had the will to be good. I do think he’s dependent on where he goes. He goes to Jacksonville or redskins then it’s less likely he succeeds

OK... but what did he think the charges were?

You might like a good sauterne.

I mean the Browns have made worse deals before so why not.

The Browns have a new sheriff in town, Andrew Berry. The days of Sashi Brown are gone.

On the bottom video, the first clip is my favorite of Aiyuk’s. His acceleration after the catch is special IMO.

That's ok.  I've never understood why they use the term 'dry'.   Its clearly a liquid.  😆

Me... I like the sweet stuff.  Not a wine guy at all, unless we are talking a barley wine, which of course, isn't even really a wine.  And when it comes to beers... give me something with a good malt finish, nice dark color, and with a good mouth feel.  I don't want to feel like I'm drinking water... I'd rather just drink water!

Stouts, Scottish Ales, Amber Ales... And never ever an IPA, a double IPA or God forbid a triple!  IPA was invented out of necessity, not with flavor in mind.  I can't figure out how it ever became popular!

Yes.  He didn't finish the combine and had sports hernia surgery right after that.

I just have to get you to come around on Jefferson.

I'm still holding out hope for my 1/2 of Jefferson and Aiyuk.

Out of that bunch... he's the best, easily.

I don’t dislike aiyuk. I dislike that somehow he’s gotten up to early 20s. I think there’s a lot of agholor to his move up where people want to love him more than they should. To me he’s a second round guy that people are vaulting into the first cause they are building up the WR class. Also my personal belief is people around the nfl love herm Edwards so when they talk to herm, they respect his opinion and view him more highly.

I love him when I watch him. Hate the fact that he is a pac 12 WR with only one year of production in college. I have this funny feeling he is either going to be a stud or a major bust.

Yeah i feel that way too. But watching asu and uofa closer living out here i don’t think he was a better collegiate player than Harry or shenault. Also have Arizona coaches who have also told me that.

It would be hard to come up with a WR I’d hate at this point, with Claypool as a notable exception.

Well, some small nuggets. Judson Kilpatrick was a brigadier general of cavalry in Sherman's Army. He was known as "Kill-cavalry" for his penchant of charging infantry positions with mounted troopers. Not good. He was particularly bad at Second Bull Run (aka Second Manassas). During Sherman's March through Georgia, Kilpatrick travelled with an entourage that included at least one mistress, possibly more.

George Armstrong Custer, something of a hero in the Civil War, was killed with his men near the Little Bighorn River in 1871, IIRC. The traditional depiction of his last stand is one of his men forming a circle, surrounded by thousands of Sioux and Cheyenne. Not the case. They were basically chased and cut down in small numbers over an extended period of time and space. Major Reno, who was with a separate detachment, spent the battle staggering around drunk on brandy, with a small cask under his arm. He survived the battle on dumb luck.

Major General Joseph Hooker was a heavy drinker and womanizer. He would throw parties for his friends and staff, attended by um, ladies of the evening. This is the most favored of the theories for the origin of the work "hooker" to mean prostitute. Hooker was sacked as commander of the Army of the Potomac three days before the Battle of Gettysburg, when his army was already on the move to follow Lee. He was replaced by George G. Meade who, when awakened at 3:00 a.m. on June 28th to be apprised of his promotion, thought at first that he was being arrested.

The Battle of the Crater is my favorite nugget from the war.  I use it as an example in business of how sound planning can be undermined by horrible execution.

I made a decision today that even though I have clear preferences I won't get mad over any WR picks the Eagles make. They just need WR's and weapons for Wentz so any WR they take is a small victory if nothing else.

I kind of feel the same. I mean I have my preferences of course but at this point I just want WRs. Feels somewhat hypocritical to then be negative on which WRs they take.

Reisling is like a desert wine.  I’ve made shaved ice with that before.  If you don’t know what Sauvignon is. Then I’ll give you a hint.  It’s a different aisle then MD20/20

I dont drink alcohol never have, i have no idea what MD20/20 is.

I do like shaved ice though, especially with the ice cream in the middle😊

Yep. For example, if they stay put at 21 or trade down my preference is definitely Reagor. That said, if they took Mims, Higgins, Aiyuk, or even Hamler, I'm not going to complain. I might not love the pick, but I won't complain. I have this bad bad feeling they are going to take someone like Gross-Matos, or Epenesa. God I hope I'm wrong.
