I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Good move for Dallas. Dalton is a damn good backup.

Yup! Easy decision.

Dalton took a discount because he lives in Dallas (and there were not great options).

Not sure how much of a discount it is.  $7 million was about what Bridgewater made in NO last year.  2 million under what we paid Foles in 2018.  6-9 million seems to be the going range for high-end backup QBs nowadays. Might go up as they extend the season duration though.

Newsflash...

No one is social distancing today. This whole pandemic is looking more and more overdramatized.

That’s all.

How does no one following suggestions = over dramatized?

Lawmakers and law enforcement clearly don’t care...

Anyone have heating/ac system like this?

Im curious how you like it, and if you remember how much it cost to buy and have installed. Thinking about doing this.

Spoke to one company that said something like $12,000. Hard to believe when you can buy this kit for like $3,100.

GREE Multi-21 Quad Zone 33438 BTU Wi-Fi Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner & Heat Pump with 25 ft. Install Kit-230V/60Hz

Mini splits  ,I have them in my house love them, my home is 6,000 sq ft,  all wood exposed beams, floors, rafters and walls, no drywall..so the standard hvac system, with duct work wasnt a option...I have different brand though.

I’ve seen law enforcement care. The problem is it’s impossible to enforce, especially when they themselves are trying to reduce the risk of spreading the disease among their own police force.

In any case there have been plenty of people that never took it seriously. More people getting restless and stopping taking it seriously isn’t an indicator of over dramatization.

good to hear.

Yeah, havent really researched any brands yet. Right not just trying to figure out if itd be a good move for us in general, or not.

This is the most relevant best fitting meme I’ve seen in years

I would have liked 27 but it might not be on the table with Luries goofy rules

No it wouldn't. He might break something, but that's it

Eagles had a guy jump a fence and it ended it.

But will Jerry force dalton to wear that aikman 8 or that sacred romo 9 🤔

stands would be easy to enforce. Let ushers know youre filling even rows, or off rows. Itll be very easy to spot the guy whos in the empty row and tell him to move.

and, my plan has the stadium at less than 50% full. I really dont see concourses being an issue.

Your plan seems to assume that the virus can only spread vertically and not horizontally. Filling only odd or even rows would be pointless if you're going to have people sitting next to each other. Attempting to enforce a restriction on side-by-side seating would seem to me to be a virtually impossible-to-achieve endeavor.

Going with Stidham? Their kind of arrogance,

maybe you missed the part where its every other seat too? Thatd also be easy to see for any ushers or security enforcing it.

Let's agree to disagree on the bolded sentence. (EDIT -- I suppose they could disable seats with a bungee cord thingee. They would be tied up and unable to open and close. I guess the maintenance crew could prep the stadium each week, closing every other row and disabling every other seat in the other rows. But short of that, I don't see how the ushers would be able to control the crowd from sitting where they'd like. It'd be like Woodstock where the plans immediately go haywire and the crowd goes where they want.)

Also, how are the Eagles going to tell my family that I can go to the game but my father who has had season tickets for fifty-five years can't go with me? (He's pushing ninety and could no go to the game without me.)

They could play at the old Haverford School field.

I think itd have to be like everything else. Unprecedented times. Everyone has made tons of sacrifices already. This would just be another. Its temporary. Its unfortunate. Its an inconvenience. But if they are to have fans in the stands while trying to follow proper distancing guidelines, its the way it may have to be. I dont see why anyone's feeling of a right to their season tickets is more important than anything else everyone else has had to give up during these times.

To have fans they wont be able to pack in all of the season ticket holders. There are too many. And since you cant just choose some season ticket holders, you choose none. On ticketmaster release only tickets in every other seat, every other row and open it up to general public so everyone has an equal chance.

The following season, hopefully with all of this stuff in the past, you all go back to having your season tickets again.

Maybe a different option is to choose half of the season ticket holders for half the home games, the other half of the ticket holders get the other half of the games. And then, no single ticket sales. Maybe that could work. But still, youd have to have different seats.

You can't tell people who paid up to $20,000 for a seat license (ours was less than half of that but there were high-priced options that I'm sure were that expensive when multiple seats were involved) that they can't go to the game and that their seats will be sold to the general public.

You would think but yet people who have paid more than that for,  say... a wedding have been told they can't get married.

I don't believe a damn word that comes out as rumor about eagles.

Although I was hoping to JK Dobbins before the draft. Him and Sanders would have been great young RB combo

thats pretty helpful. I like the 2500-4000 price range. Thats doable. 12,000 for ductless is not.

We have a coal stove and cleaned up the finished half of our basement 2 weeks ago. Its such a pain, and to think its going to get like that again in the winder is hard to come to grips with.

Good info on the 15C ambient temp thing. That could be a big problem. Ill have to look for that information on the unit we might end up buying and make sure its capable in colder weather. But I hope that feature isnt something that ends up driving the price of this project out of our price range.

Little cheaper option don't know what the application is all the way is a ptac. They are the units you see in the hotels. I just put one in my garage.

If there is an NFL season, and I mean that is a big if, there won't be any fans present in the stadiums.

Look at what NASCAR is unveiling with their upcoming races. Races with no spectators. That is the template going forward.
