As for Clowney, if the price is right, I’m in. The cupboard is extremely bare for the Eagle at DE, short and long term. Clowney could be a suitable stop gap for 2-3 years.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Not sure how valid this source is, but some interesting games. Has us opening at Pittsburgh, which would be excellent for us. You want Big Ben's 1st game after elbow surgery.

Bye weeks only in Weeks 7-10? Doesn't sound right

Also gives the league an out to cancel early, non-conference games in the event the virus does not cooperate.

Those have the least impact on qualifying for the playoffs.

Middle of the season, why not?

Eight teams (four games) a week for four weeks.

But if the medical experts are expecting a resurgence of the virus in the fall, that puts it in the Equal Conference games and first Divisional games.

Unless they changed everything post covid. They announced the schedule was done before other sports league shutdowns so i don't know how much they changed around besides international games which is an easy fix. I suppose they could have scrapped the original schedule entirely and re-scheduled in the last 6-8 weeks. In a normal setting, they would spread them out to have more games every week.

Watching my way through the season.

I'd take him on a 1 year prove it deal, mostly because I don't want him playing against my q.b. the scumbag cheapshot artist

When he takes out the opposing QB we won't mind as much. Sign him.

I’m rewatching the entire 2017 season, even the losses. Just finished the Seattle loss.

Not a great endorsement on their ability to select OL.  Treadwell looks like a bust and Gurley looks close to done.  The depth doesn’t look great.

What did Wentz say about the hit?

In the recent phone interview.  Basically said it was a freak hit and didn't put any blame on Clowney or say anything about cheap shots or dirty players.  It's a good listen, especially in how he shuts down anything Hurts-related.  Carson is a legit good guy & leader.

Always interesting to revisit. Had Reagor at #14 last year, before the TCU QBs tried to ruin him.

Nope.  Project.  Will need to be taught how to watch the ball in.

Yet there is always controversy swirling around him, due to no fault of his own.  It just seems like we can't have nice things in Philadelphia, at least not at the QB position.

Just like the phone interview, and Sal Pal saying it wasn't a video conference call because he was reading off a script

Foles was garbage in that Oakland game.  Not great against ATL in the playoffs.  Caught fire.  And then to start the next season, wasn't great either.  People were celebrating when Wentz was announced as the starter for wk 3 against Indy.  Foles is the streakiest QB we've had in a long long time.

Yup. love nick but he was kind of like that since his senior year at Arizona  he was very hot and cold that year as well prior to that season he was projected by espn as a first round pick so much so they invited him to ESPN before the season started with 4 other QBs they projected as firsts before the season

The start of 2018 was rough at WR too. Jeffery was out the first couple games with the shoulder surgery he was coming back from. Then wallace got hurt one play into game two and you were down to like agholor and Aiken. I feel like the wr position has just been snake bitten since the super bowl.

Everything Sal Pal says should be immediately thrown on the compost pile.

This just in: Sal Pal is a snake.

Honestly just spending a little bit of time on this board gives a good example of what you are talking about. Eagles draft Hurts it immediately turns into discussion of "why they aren't happy with Wentz", or "He's going to retire early", or "we're trading him away" or Hezzz a lockerzzzz roomzzzzzz cancerzzzzzz.

If not for the INT by Darby in that Oakland game, the Eagles likely lose that one.   Then they would have had to go out to win the game against the Cowboys, instead of having it as a rest game.  Maybe they do, maybe they don't.  And if they don't, then no home field advantage, and in my opinion, most likely no parade.

Nick played somewhere between 8-10 consecutive quarters of awesome football to bring home that Lombardi.  Going back to that 27-2 run he had... he also played some amazing stretches in there, but over the life of his career, he gets ridiculously hot, and then ridiculously cold.  I love the guy and I always will, but the way that Nick has been elevated in the minds of some is beyond his actual abilities.  Nick Foles is, IMO, the greatest backup QB in the history of the NFL.  But, he's not a QB that should  be a starter.  He will disappoint again as a starter and go from there.  He's Earl Morrall, only with the ability to raise his game to ridiculous heights at times.  He out-dueled Tom Brady in the Super Bowl.  Had the Patriots won that game, it would have gone down in Super Bowl history and been the crowning achievement for Brady's career.  But, he lost it.  So, that record setting passing day sort of gets lost in the lore of the Philly Special.  Foles had a nearly flawless game that day.  And who knows how legendary it becomes if Alshon catches that one that he couldn't wrangle in that turned into an INT inside the 10.

Took you long enough.

Watching 2010 game against the Colts. Man, that offense was so fast. Vick, Djax, Maclin, and McCoy...really foreshadowed the current Chiefs team.

I was at OTS when the game happened so I could only follow on gametrack. First win against Peyton in 72,324 years I think.

If only Riley hung onto that ball against GB that team wins the SB.

How exactly is Reagor a project?
