Watching 2010 game against the Colts. Man, that offense was so fast. Vick, Djax, Maclin, and McCoy...really foreshadowed the current Chiefs team.

I was at OTS when the game happened so I could only follow on gametrack. First win against Peyton in 72,324 years I think.

If only Riley hung onto that ball against GB that team wins the SB.

If Jerruh admitted to crying in his pillow after we won Super Bowl LII, can you imagine the tears from us winning our first in his stadium? That was a big reason I really really wanted to win it all that year.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

And there is the fatal flaw in that team

All for adding Clowney!

Nope.  Project.  Will need to be taught how to watch the ball in.

Whats the over under on how long it takes a pro coach to teach a pro football player what pee wee coaches teach their kids on day 1?

1 hour? 1 day???

Are we seriously projected at $50 mil over the cap next year?

If the cap is set at $215M, with no rollover and no cuts/restructures, yes.

Why do you think they cut out the message board? Now they're profitable again

How exactly is Reagor a project?

He's not.

Does this new board not have the auto-sarcasm font?  How's it work?

Seriously though, I must have heard it at least 20 times over the last week, mostly used to pile on with the Hurts pick, but as if people couldn't spend 2 minutes to dig a little deeper than his 2019 stats and a single combine 40 time.

There is a bit of a difference... the main one being that Dalton has always choked in the playoffs.

1 TD, 6 INTs in 4 playoff games.  The Bengals never scored more than 13 points in a single playoff game.  Most of the time, just 10 points.  And... hasn't been in a playoff game since 2014.  (Bengals made the playoffs in 2015, but he missed the game.)   And the Bengals haven't had a winning record since...

So did Nick until 2017

I think I read somewhere that the Covid issue could see the cap come back $30M to $80M.  The discussion was about the NFL having to offer an amnesty year.

I'd be really upset if they added him. He's not that good and he's also a dirty player.

I know his stats aren’t anything special but he’s an extremely talented player. He’d make this whole defense better.

Not exactly.  Foles had one playoff game.  2013 (his second season in the league) 2 TDs, 0 INT.  Eagles' O scored 24 points.

Foles was not a sure thing when he was signed, and basically no one saw his signing as an insurance policy on a Super Bowl run... even as it was happening.  But, there was the hope that he could get on one of his hot streaks.  He did, they won.  Story written.

On the other hand, Dalton is a guy who has started for over a decade in the league, and frankly has been disappointing, especially since he got paid.  Maybe he finds lightning in a bottle if called upon.  But, the odds of that are much longer than for Foles, if you ask me.  Dalton has never had a 27-2 streak in his career.  We'll see.  This is Dallas trying to be relevant again.  They mention Nick Foles... a Super Bowl... and whip their sheep up in a frenzy.

Truth is... they haven't been relevant in the NFL since 1996.  They are basically the Detroit Lions, only with a better press agent.  Same color scheme, same history of finding ways to lose.  Same puffed up QB who makes stats without meaningful wins.

Umm nope, Clowney doesn’t lead anybody nor make anyone else better.  He averages less than 7 sacks per year playing with JJ Watt for most of it.  Without Watt he put up 3 sacks last season.

Yannick would make the whole defense better. Clowney would likely give us penalties throughout the season

Schefter speculated that since its based off revenue if the whole season played out with no fans they would lose a large chunk of revenue and the cap would come down around those numbers.

Quite frankly, I think its BS. The NFL and NFLPA could come to an agreement on a cap #, its not locked in stone it must be based off revenue. The NFL might as well close their doors if they allow the cap to drop from $200M to $120M. That would be such a detriment to the product for so many reasons.

I’m rewatching the entire 2017 season, even the losses. Just finished the Seattle loss.

I have been skipping around.  2013 is a fun season to watch for the most part.  2014 starts well. I think it would have ended differently if Foles had stayed healthy.  It's surprising how good the receivers look vs. what we had last season.

That was maclin’s best year of his career. Legitimately played like what they thought when they moved up to draft him. Which was a little surprising cause he missed all of 2013 with injury and he didn’t miss a beat that year.

I think the cap number is going to go down unless they find a new way to monetize games.  I'm not sure how the product is impacted because the market for players is going to stay the same.  It's not like players are going to hold out and not play.  They can't get more money overseas.  I do think some FA's are only going to want to sign short term deals.
