This scheme doesn't require an elite LB. Hasn't for years now. In a 4-3 scheme I don't see that it has the game changing impact. I'm not doubting that Murray or Queen would be major upgrades but they don't vastly change this defense and the direction of this team.

I don’t get why they drafted jones and a year later give up on him especially when he wasn’t close to being a top 10 pick even being a QB to begin with and you’d essentially wasted that pick cause you won’t get the value of 6th overall back 

i still Think that rumor is the lions trying to get a team to fear The giants taking Herbert so someone will trade up to 3 to jump them and they get more picks and move back a couple spots to 5-6 and still get a guy they really like.

Might as well say the Eagles are drafting a QB in the first also.  They are not drafting a LB or RB in the first.

Howie's entire offseason strategy has painted him into a corner where he NEEDS TO DRAFT A WR in the first round, in one of the best WR draft classes possibly ever. Coincidence, I think not. Any ''information'' or speculation fueled by ''information'' is such an obvious leak/smoke screen to try to convince some people that this isn't the case.

Basically, a short finish (dry) is a taste that won't linger in your mouth like a longer (usually sweeter) finish will.  Something like Club Soda has a short/dry finish while something like fruit punch will have a long finish (the taste will linger in your mouth longer).

 

When it comes to wines, depending on the type, a longer finish is usually desirable in higher end, good tasting wines because you want that flavor to linger.  Although personally, I prefer drier wines, that tend to be less sweet...and yes, typically have a shorter finish.  Just a personal preference thing...and of course, when it comes to wine, it really depends on what you are pairing it with. 

My drink of choice is a 12 year Single Malt (or a decent blended will also suffice) Scotch Whiskey (Johnny Walker, Glenlivet) ...and most good Scotch is known to have a smoother, dry finish.  While on the other hand, Bourbon Whiskey (Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, etc)  typically will have longer finishes.

It sort of does. A long finish will stay in your mouth um, longer than a short finish. A dry red will linger on the tongue. You'll find that you drink it more slowly without even thinking about it.

Wouldn’t surprise me. I think they are going to take reagor, aiyuk or mims if jefferson and the top 3 are off the board. Wouldn’t be shocked if they move back to pick up a couple extra picks. I don’t see them going anywhere else but WR unless Someone we never expected to fall does which is highly unlikely.

My son was born in 2002 - a relatively crappy year for aging around most of the world but I have a couple of cabs and a couple of rieslings that I can't wait to try in a couple more years.

I'm 99.99% sure it will still be wine, but I'm no expert.  It might have become a pony.  🤷‍♂️

The original tweet was from 2016 when the buzz going around was Eagles were in love with Zeke. He retweeted with Linebacker. He's suggesting any and all talk of Eagles going LB is just Howie playing a trick on everyone.

Yep. If they think one of those guys is a cut above the rest, they take them at 21. If they have two or three of them in a group they can move down to the late 20's and pick up an extra 3rd.

Even with crap at DT, we had a top run defense last season.

It's a passing league.  Get help in the secondary.

My hope is kind of one of the top 3 falls to us. If not that we move back to 26-29 and pick up an extra third and get one of those guys. Then use the extra pick to maneuver Around the draft.
