Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

So another year of Peters plays the 1st and 3rd quarter, Dillard plays the 2nd and 4th?

We in here talkin’ bout schedule, I mean listen, we talkin’ bout schedule.  Not a game, not a game, not a game.  We talkin’ bout schedule.

are we about to see the first suspension of the new blog?!

Kind of disappointing if we haven't had one yet.

Ok.  Enough with the Earl Thomas Sisters of the Traveling Pants.

I’m shocked Jacksonville has stood their ground this long with Yannick.  Is our 2021 1st too much to offer?   It should be in the 15-25 range.  Obviously Cap implications play a part. But Howie.....right?

Because that’s the move I would make at DE.  Not Griffen or Clowney.

At this point I would take any of the 3 and I hate the clown

I don't believe for a second that Peters has turned down offers.  He's probably 400lbs by now too.

My offer for Yannick is Barnett and a 3rd.  Wouldn't go one draft value point higher.

You won't have to wait long, he'll be up against Chase Young week 1.

I'm gonna bet they might be a bit more lenient here, but we'll see. That said on the old board certain people could get away with about anything. Although I can't complain I've never even had a warning point. I did have a mod warn me to shut up though lol, during the whole blog to what's up debacle

Agreed.  Which is why he doesn't "want" to play guard.  In other words, he can't bend down that low.

I mean... Ronald McDonald is terrible.... but the Ronald McDonald Houses are a great benefit to families dealing with juvenile cancer.  So... its a bit of a give and take.

If I’m the Jags I couldn’t care less about Barnett. Definitely not worth $10mil in 2021

Why don't you calm your boobs about this years draft.  Let's wait and see.  You could be right but we won't know for another year or 2.  Although we will have a good indication by midway through this season.

Would absolutely love this.

It's an improvement but the NCAA needs to revise their rules.  I mean in an ideal world you could have a partnership between the NFL and potential NFL players that allowed the players to intern/work and learn about the NFL while they were in college.  Why should professional development in their prospective field impact their eligibility.

Little late with that one bud.  And apparently it's the anniversary of that interview.  WIP dedicated a show about it.  Talking about grasping for topics.

You probably wish.  Wouldn't shock me with that guy.  Dude has a serious complex.

Homophobia, just what we need.

This years draft?  You think he's done a good job before this year?

Below is just his bad first 3 round picks.  Just his.

1st Round:  Marcus Smith (DE), Danny Watkins (OG)

2nd Round:  J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (WR),  Sidney Jones (CB), Jordan Matthews (WR),  Jaiquawn Jarrett (S), Nate Allen (S)

3rd Round:  Josh Huff (WR), Curtis Marsh (CB), Daniel Te’o-Neshiem (DE)

This was HIS first draft by himself.  I agree, he has sucked in the past but let's wait and see how this years turns out.

Meh.  We're not going to find a player as good as him in the first round next year.  Especially not if Howie is drafting.  If they would take a 3rd and Barnett, sure.  I don't see it.

I think he'll go for less than a 1st at this point.  The dude is hell bent on getting out of Jacksonville, and I'm sure at some point closer to the season, they will unload him for a 2nd or a 3rd somewhere.  I have a bad feeling it won't be here though unfortunately.

My favorite part of the article is where they wrote...  He’ll compete with Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox for the role opposite Sidney Jones.

Sidney Jones covering everyone

Why wouldn't they care about Barnett?   Maybe he's not a steady Pro-Bowler but the dude isn't terrible.  If they're that worried about this 2021 cap, a modest extension can fix that no problem.  They'd at least have the option to negotiate with him, which they definitely can't do with Ngakoue.  Dude's in franchise-tag territory now and he's just about burnt his bridge with them.

Barnett and a 3rd wouldn't be bad for them at all.

Proofreading is overrated.  It's not like these folks write for a living...

Why would you want an average player if you’re clearly rebuilding. Barnett makes zero difference on that team.
