The Rams don't have a national following.  I wouldn't be surprised if the St. Louis region went back to rooting for the Cardinals.

The NFL will push at least one LA team down the throats of everyone watching. Problem is they're pushing the wrong one

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I wonder what happens to Lamar Jackson in year 3 and a full off-season (for the most part) of teams being able to gameplan for him. Was he a flash in the pan or is he going to be able to keep up his MVP pace.  He has more weapons, their running game is going to be really tough to stop.  Be interesting to see.  The NFL caught on to Vick, RG3 and even Kaepernick.  All play the exact same came as Lamar does.

I don't think anyone has really been able to hit Jackson

We made the news back before the old EMB shut down...

LOL I love how it shows those threads:lol:

One key thing outside of our control...it’s important that AZ not take the next step this year.  If they turn into a tough game, Seattle, GB, NO, at AZ, at Dallas is a nightmare stretch.

We stunk last year. Seattle really struggled mightily to beat us both times, and GB stunk and we beat them. Im not scared of those 2 teams. Or Arizona.

Over analyzing the schedule is pointless.   Hell, we lost to the damn Dolphins last year.  Few things we know that matters.  No teams off the bye, good spot in the middle of the schedule for our bye.  No 3 game road trips.  Other than that.  Nothing much else to talk about.

OK.  We'll stop then.

Hahahahaha.  That’s amazing.

Or really.  Who is the Chargers QB?

Herbert will be good imo. Chargers defense is really good with young studs. Were hammered with injuries last year

Cards are definitely on the rise. I could easily see that as a L. Let’s not forget we lost to the Fins last year and they didn’t have the type of talent the young Cards do. That linebacking corps they have is downright drool worthy.

It’s been a while we didn’t finish the season with either Dallas or NYG.

We finished 2018 in DC.

Yeah, I just googles 'What happened to the Eagles Message board' to see if anyone 'out there' who didn't know what happened, might be searching for answers and I came across that news story lol.

I'm still skeptical on Murray and Kingsbury

Oh my all means.  It’s fruitless.  But go ahead.

I think we win that game if they didn't take Wentz out

Should call and let them know we succeeded and we're better than ever!

It's the same scenario that they had last year with these early games. They need to come out the gate 3-0 so they have the luxury to drop a game or two later in the season to a tougher team. Fortunately, the Atlanta and Detroit game didn't cost them a playoff spot last season but it almost did. They can't drop a game to Cinci or Washington at the start. I'd put the Rams at home in that category as well.

Prediction. Wentz first pass that's off target that idiot Booger will say the Eagles should put Hurts in

It may be an ad hominem attack, but you can't take anyone who goes by 'Booger' seriously, and you certainly can't listen to anything he says as credible.

But the Dolphins had the players to attack our biggest weakness on defense.  Match-ups matter.

We play some young QBs.  Haskins, Jones, Burrow, Mayfield, Murray.  If you throw in Jackson, that's half the schedule against QBs with less than three years of experience.  Time for Schwartz to earn his money.

Schedule looks great.  We should be able to make a strong run if we're not decimated by injuries again.

Looks like 13-3 starting w/a win in Washington, just like 2017.

I wonder if someone called or emailed them about the closure to begin with.

we are not playing any teams this year that are coming off a buy

The Rams also have a new logo which when you look at it at a glance makes you immediately think "LA Chargers"!

Possibly. I remember people saying they were calling into radio stations/podcasts. Maybe they called the news as well

Too bad they didn't mention how much was raised to create the new one. Would have showed how serious everyone was IMO

At least Brady has earned the hype.

Still don't get the love affair with McVay.

Brady should be on a lot this season because I think there’s a strong possibility he doesn’t look any better than last year, even with Evans, Godwin, etc.  He still has to get the ball downfield to them.

I think this season will be it for him, and he doesn’t play a second year in TB.
