Looks like he lost 50 pounds but I'm sure he will pack that weight on as soon as he gets re-signed.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I visited Phoenix in 2010 and really enjoyed it.  Being Canadian I didn’t even realize there were mountains there so I was pleasantly surprised.  Had to get on the golf course before 8am though, because it was 100 degrees out by lunch time when I visited in May

Visited Greensboro NC on a few trips for work; love the climate there as I could wear a short-sleeve polo shirt even in Oct/Nov.  Lots of run-down lower income areas near where I stayed, though.

Visited Chicago in 1997 for work — great city to visit with so much to see.  Wouldn’t want to live there, though — hearing gunfire outside the workplace left an impression

It was awesome to see Philly in 2012; lots to see and great history to take in

I’ve taken golf vacations to Palm Springs — what’s not to like?  Orlando as well, as long as I stayed away from the Disney complex.  Las Vegas was nice, but windy as heck

Only place I’ve visited in the US that I didn’t enjoy was Cleveland.

Sedona Arizona is nice. Lots of slot canyons and red rock and if one isnt into outdoors stuff its also a tourist town with lots of time shares and shopping😒

Read an article that says hes turned down other teams because he wants to play for eagles and the only reason he hasnt signed yet is because of all the covid stuff.

I wouldnt be a big fan of the move but i think at this point its more than likely going to happen. Too much smoke not to.

I don't believe that he's turned down any offers for a second.

Declining player, but serviceable. Ruiz in RD1 sealed his fate.

Jason Peters can still play, but teams aren't willing to pay him enough to move. If he was willing to take a weak contract, he'd be signed.

He should just wait for a LT to get hurt.

Yup.

Or sign here as a coaching assistant under Stout.

Agreed. Unless it's for an assistant coach or something then I don't want him back.

No team in the NFL, including us, wants Peters to start for them.

After a couple starters at LT go down or if our confidence in Dillard crumbles, Peters could get some calls.  But no one is signing him to start week 1 unless it’s us.

If a starter goes down, he’ll be the first call for several teams.

Yeah could be his agent trying to drum up interest

GPS over 40,makes sense

So it would be logical to assume that Johnson runs somewhere between a 4.45 and a 4.55, but the Bucs used technology to further drill down on exactly how fast he is.

"We did some digging on that using some of the technology that exists to get a feel for what his speed was comparable to,” Bucs director of player personnel John Spytek said. "We’ll never have a 40-time on him, but I think the 40 times are becoming less and less relevant with more and more of this GPS data where you can see real speed on the field. Miles per hour – and there are ways to capture that now [with technology] both at the school and off of film.

"Without giving away all of our secrets we did some digging on that and we have some pretty good comparisons.

How do you prepare them before they go on?

He would not do the latter if he can still play. I don't know what Stout makes but it's a fraction of what Peters would get, even at a discount. Stout may well be the highest-paid position coach in the league and worth every penny but still. No way you pay an assistant more than the head position coach.

Not that it's a bad idea, If Peters goes for it, they could play Dillard and if he busts out or gets hurt, sign Peters to play instead of coach. I still prefer playing Dillard and Mailata before that eventuality, though.

I hit 'em with tajin first - the yellow top one with the Habaneros , then when they're nearly done I brush them with a mix of brown sugar, soy sauce, and sambal - sweet, salty, and hot. More of that sauce when they're off the grill. Vary the proportions according to your taste.

This is great stuff!

@VaBeach_Eagle  wondering if know how to or are able to add an Eagles logo for when you bookmark a page.  Would be nice to have instead of blank.  If not, no big deal.

No doubt... but in terms of his health, coaching is WAY more sustainable, and at 38 his market seems to be dwindling very fast as a player.  The nice thing for Peters though, were he to sign as a coach here, he wouldn't have to move or disrupt anything in his personal life.  So, that's a benefit.

As a player, I think that Peters could still play at a level like a top 32 LT in the NFL.  There are not 32 better options in the league, but you don't know week to week or even quarter to quarter if he will be available.  That's a problem.  And even if you do sign Peters, you need to have a backup plan in place, and a good one, because the fact is you know he's going to miss time, it's just a question of how much time he's going to miss.

How much are 4th row tickets in the endzone at Eagles games?

I don't know if that's the new "Black Hole" area but the Raiders are charging $1200 a pop. 20brows higher are $1500. 😮

left out a very important step. the pep talk. You have to talk to the wings. Get a feel for their personality. Helps you know just the right seasoning for the particular batch of wings. And it also encourages them to get good and crispy, and maintain their juices at the same time. The wing relationship is important, and establishes a spiritual connection between you and your meal helping to make more of a dining experience rather than just a boring eat for survival cause thats just what we do type of meal. Some call it a pep talk. I call it the "prep" talk. To prepare the wings for a grilling.

Just dry rub and melted butter, then sauce them right before taking them off

It's funny that you mention that, I was just looking into that earlier but got a phone call and had to stop, and just hadn't gotten back to it yet. I'll get back to it in a few minutes. I know it can be done, that's called a 'favicon'. I just have to find the place to do it.
