Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

This?

This is 😂.

If you aren't aware Phil and Brady are taking on Tiger and Manning in a 2 Man best ball tourney soon.

Peyton is hilarious.

Dan Sileo is somehow worse than Incarcerated Bob

I don't care much about Clowney one way or the other, but if they are pursuing him and the report isn't BS, at least that means they have a lot more cap flexibility than we thought.

My bad.  Yea this guy doesn't look legit

What about drafting a RB fourth overall and paying him $12M a year when he had two years left on his deal?

To let a Pro Bowl CB walk.
Or paying an off-ball LB with significant knee injuries instead.

It’s BS

Good thread.

The thing about those clips is that the other linebackers - Gerry, KGH and Bradham - all look absolutely terrible on almost every play. On one play, one of the other LBs (couldn't see the number) managed to get blocked to the ground twice, and in another Gerry looks like one of those players from the old vibrating football game just going around in circles by himself with no one around him.

As far as Edwards in coverage, it looked like he was a step late in a lot of instances, but that is hardly an anomaly in the league. Every week we see Zach Ertz eat up LBs, and Wentz completed 80 percent of his passes to running backs last year, so it's not like Edwards would be the only guy who gets beat in coverage if he was out there full time.

If you compare him to the other LBs, he is vastly better than the other guys we were putting out there. And I have no doubt that Taylor will be an immediate upgrade over Gerry. And for anyone wanting to bring Bradham back, watch him get blocked over and over again in those clips.

Gives me visions of lots of 3 and outs...  Now put Wentz in there at... OH YEA THAT'S WHAT WE'RE DOING.

Not in that package. Sure Wentz for our normal offense, but in that particular set you want the QB to be a big time running threat.

The play where Gerry has no one around him?  He dropped into Zone and sealed his edge.  There were a couple of plays where Gerry go engulfed in blocks, both by OTs. On one of those plays, Fletch was right next to him dealing with the same from the cowpads G.  A few plays Sweat or Cox were right between Gerry and the ball carrier. On several of the plays, Gerry was right there as mop up when Edwards made the play. Gerry’s speed and both his and Edwards’ instincts are apparent.

Mills challenge at SS would be evident from Jenkins’ play on runs in those clips.

KGH looked really bad in those clips.   Don’t know when as to his knee injury. Same with Bradham, but don’t know when as to his injury.

It was the play against the Vikings.

Really informative.  He is good at filling the holes, taking on fullbacks and slashing through the line but man you can really see players pull away from him in coverage.  I fear Edwards is playing during the wrong era.  Teams are going to be able to gameplan against him.

You’re right, of course. Just me feeling cooped up. I’m much more likely to make a risotto than a brisket. My Weber is more than adequate.

I need the secret to a good risotto.

I really don't want Clowney here but if they bring him in on a reasonable deal, one positive is that it weakens the Seahawks and man do I just despise them anymore.  They are right below Dallas anymore with teams that I hate.

Dallas, New Orleans, Seattle, New England, Pittsburgh.  Ugh

Not much data there.  Not many teams have been dumb enough to do that.
